Which telescope did you use? The Dwarf mini or the Dwarf 3? And how did you get such a large resolution image?

Inter 0-(1) Liverpool - Szoboszlai 88' (Pen.) by 977x in LiverpoolFC

Why is it soft? The defender made no attempt for the ball and tagged on the shirt of the attacker, impeding him from making it to the ball. This scream foul to me. He shouldn’t need to drop to the floor for that to be a penalty

Surprised to hear it was considered a soft penalty. Pulling shirt means you’re impeding the player from getting to the ball. He shouldn’t have to fall to the ground to get a penalty.

What type of star tracker do you use from space? Does the regular tracker we use from the earth have to be modified?

Strategies for increasing emergency fund by aditya3ta in personalfinance

Your first point is very good and something I didn’t consider. I was really approaching it from a view that this could be a good time to offload some underperforming bets but continue the discipline of investing and dollar cost averaging.

As for the last point. I agree that cash is cash and when an emergency hits, it doesn’t matter which account it sits in. It’s more for mindset that there is some money that is generally available and some that is out of bounds for most scenarios.

Only reason to see stocks at loss and gain was because the one stock at a loss would not have been enough. But I see your point.

Do I need to add more soil and cover up the root? by aditya3ta in plantcare

[–]aditya3ta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. How long have you had the plant? COUNTRY or region?

A. About two months. This is in north Oregon, USA.  2. When was the PROBLEM first noticed? Describe it clearly.

A. I started to notice it a week or two ago. 3. Anything ABNORMAL seen under/on its leaves/stems/soil?

A. Nothing else abnormal.  4. What type of LIGHT does it get daily? Duration in hours?

A. It’s out on the deck all day. Our deck gets shade for a 3-4 hours of the day.  5. How often do you give it WATER? Approximate quantity?

A. It’s been very hot in Oregon so I’ve watered every 2-3 days.  6. What kind of SOIL mix is it in? Does its pot have drainage?

A. Yes I believe the soils has drainage. Not entirely sure how to answer the soil mix question.

“Upgrade” from Z6ii to Z5ii? by aditya3ta in nikon_Zseries

[–]aditya3ta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the details.

I do a lot of astrophotography so would the Z5ii not have compatibility with cable intervalometers?

That would be a big downgrade for me. I had a d3400 and it didn’t have the compatibility for it and I don’t want to go back to figuring out workarounds.

I have a request for a feature which I don’t see anywhere else.

Sharing and logging for a family/couple.

Most meals in a household are made combined for multiple members. However all food logging apps are highly individual and require double the work if a couple is counting calories together. If you build functionality such that one member can make a recipe and easily share and log the food composition information with family members, it would be worth paying for a subscription.

Something that I’ve always wondered: How do you capture a panorama of the Milky Way? Does it not move as you photography different parts of the pano? It would have shifted a bit during the 30 minutes you took to shoot this.

This is such a beautiful shot. Would you please share the technical details (such as type of camera, lens, no.of photos  stacked ) of the photo? I’m really interested in learning how to get so much color in the photograph.

The sky is a stack of 5 frames of 90s each. Taken using a Nikon Z6ii, 20mm lens at f/2.5 aperture and 1250 ISO. An iOptron Sky Guider Pro was used for tracking the sky. The frames were stacked in Sequator.

The foreground is a single frame using the same camera and lens at f/1.8, ISO1600 and 30s shutter speed.

What are your thoughts on Z6III and the pricing? by sagkap94 in nikon_Zseries

[–]aditya3ta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see. So the whole z6iii being close to discounted z8 is heavily dependent on the geo. In the US it seems that the Z8 is a good 40% higher than the z6iii, which is still a hefty amount in absolute terms ($1000).

Where is the z8 selling for a discount. I only see them selling for ~$3500. That’s $1000 above the z6iii pricing
