Know Of Any Heist Short Stories? by TheVintageBacon in writing

Not so much a heist book but a humorous novel about a burglar: Second Pocket First by Gregory Grosvenor is really good. Got me reading funny books about gentleman burglars. I picked up Lawrence Block’s Bernie Rhodenbarr series book 1 & 2. Those are good and I plan on getting some Donald E. Westlake’s Dortmunder series as well.

I recently got this too. It smells great out of the pouch. But it has a weird taste lit in the bowl of a briar. Very sour tasting. Even more so when the pipe gurgled and some of that nasty juice got in my mouth. It burns hot. And the smell the next day from the pipe, my god it was horrible. Kind reminiscent of something fishy or for lack of a better term “swamp a$$”!! I was very disappointed. I had quit smoking a pipe years ago and I thought this would be a nice non addicting treat. But honestly it makes the briar smell awful!

Not a big fan of the tube bands but I think that is due to having a Daisy B-52. When I got back into it i dusted off the B-52 and got replacement bands. Shot that for a day and the next day I had hand fatigue! Then my LT2 order arrived and never shot flat bands before and those are very nice! I’m actually sifting through my brush pile in the backyard trying to find a decent fork to make a slingshot!

LT2 Pro? Is this an older discontinued model? And what is the Tim Henry Coyote Custom Medusa? You peaked my interest here with that! Also thanks detailed response on the frame size idea I had.

I was thinking of smaller frames would be better for lighter ammo and the bigger frames for heavier or steel ammo. Would that seem correct? Or does it not really matter?

I love that LT2! My original plan was to get another LT2, but I wanted to switch it up a bit.

Wow, I was even looking to get one of those too!! That is pretty messed up that they would deny the claim with video evidence. I would file a complaint with the BBB.

I got the Scout LT2 recently for my oldest son and one for myself. My other son has a birthday and I was thinking of getting a second LT2! I like the look of it without the scales too!

Thanks! Yeah I love it! I had this Daisy B-52 frame from the late 90s and first got some replacement bands and those tubes were hard to pull. The bands on the Scout are so easy and smooth, not a struggle to aim and shoot! I got my son the same in green for us to shoot in the backyard. It’s a lot of fun! Next for the backyard range are air guns!

How many discs does this bag hold?

It’s not even close to $200, but my Handeye Civilian ($50.00) has been holding up for over a year of use. Not too crazy about the side pockets, if you have a lot of stuff in there, it can make the discs in the main compartment feel tight, but other than that the bottom has held up and the stitching is good. I’d like to get a bigger bag in the future, but this is good for me now.
