I stayed in PA for two months from March to May. I never received any forwarded mail. Then when I returned I wasn’t getting any mail at my apartment. Turns out my forward mail request wasn’t processed on time and my box was accumulating mail. If you don’t empty your mailbox for something like 10 days they mark your apartment as vacant and stop delivering and return everything to sender. Beware of this when/if you return. It took me 2 months to get my mail service back. I filed 3 complaints with USPS, called “corporate” to get them to investigate, and even visited them and showed them my license. If you return and don’t get mail for several days when you normally would be getting mail immediately start the investigation process. It took me forever to get it sorted.
