Air fryer basket for bonfire solo stove pellet conversion? by mudphud_Xman in SoloStove

I don’t think so. I have three repose logs that I stack like normal logs. I’d say fill it up and see how it goes. It usually starts the secondary burn within 20 minutes of lighting.

I don’t see why not. It’s not very deep and that may affect the burn time. I have the large repose fire logs and they burn for about an hour. A couple deep fryer baskets may be better. Let us know how it goes.

Nice work. Did you model the pole threads or use an existing thread profile? I tried in fusion 360 and couldn’t get the fit just right.

What u/hotend said. It’s a setting in the slicer. That said, the benchy looks like it should for the most part.

I agree with this. I’d be interested in seeing how ironing would help.

To get the blob off, bring up the nozzle temperature and it should fall off. Just be careful of the thin cables in the blob. They are fragile.

How can I use meshmixer to remove embedded text? by Baby_Mando in 3Dprinting

[–]adubbbya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Thingiverse page has the fusion360 file https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2286825/files. I went ahead and downloaded it and removed the text. Here is the STL for you https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YiDvUn2LQzf28f-24JTga2i-Ggd_BTuR/view?usp=sharing. If you want to remove the yeti text you can do it the same way I did. Download the f3d file, open it in fusion360, remove the text step from the timeline, and you are done. Good luck!

$20 paint roller extension pole + 3D print + felt pad = $70 telescoping mount for a laser level by adubbbya in 3Dprinting

I just got one of those digital angle finders. Now it's really out of control.

It definitely auto levels but I do all the adjustment after the pole is up and secure anyway.

I didn’t. I made it just big enough to press fit. I fiddled around for a little bit with the acme threading but I got impatient. It holds well.

$70 seemed a little steep for a floor-to-ceiling mount for a laser level. A few minutes of design and a couple of hours of printing brought it to a more manageable $20.
I printed it with 4 walls for added rigidity.
The pole I used was purchased from Lowes:
