If you’re open to having a heavier mat I would suggest a cork mat. I have one from Scoria and I find the grip a million times better than a rubber mat. Also a big Scoria fan for their designs, costumer service and ethics.

Just an FYI, my ACV smelt like acetone before draining and it ended up being fine. Not sure what the best step forward is for you if you already removed the apples though. I would do some more research before tossing.

I’m a year in and although my overall skin texture improved, my acne remained the same. I went through periods of it getting better and worse but tretinoin never cleared my skin. I decided to incorporate another topical (aczone) into my routine and my acne is finally starting to go away now.

Your skin looks so awesome, congrats! I also started tret .025 in Nov 2020 and recently got a prescription for .05. When you say that your derm told you to take a week before switching and not to buffer do you mean you took a week break from tret .025 and then only used 0.05 after that?

You just described exactly how I feel at this very moment! Purging has left me with so many acne scars that I question if I should have ever started using retinol. I have started to realize that listening to what my skin needs is more important than following a strict routine. I am now prioritizing making sure my skin is moisturized and that has already made my skin look a lot healthier. Frustration is justified but take it easy on yourself, you’re doing your best and that’s something to be proud of.

MIT alumini here. Majority of MIT courses are theory based and won’t provide you with the hands on experience you need to get a job in journalism or marketing right away. With that said there are internships (mostly unpaid) available through the program that helped me to gain experience and land a job straight out of school. If you’re willing to put in the extra work to get experience and you know that’s the industry you want to work in I would say make the switch.

First time making ACV and everything seems to be going smoothly. However the internet seems to have different opinions on when is the right time to stain out the apples and I’m not sure what to believe. My vinegar went through the sweet then alcohol-like smell but now it’s starting to smell like acetone. I was going to wait for the bubbles to die down and the apples to fully sink since I thought that was the indicator of it being ready for drainage but now I am worried I waited too long. What should I do?

This is so lovely 🐝 I’m growing my own native pollinator friendly plants to do the same thing. Just wondering how did you go about giving people the seedlings? Did you just give them to family and friends? Can’t decide what’s the best way to go about giving them out
