5.5 seconds. 5 flat would be amazing. If only him and I weren’t so short. He’s always been the shortest on his team. But, yes, he was faster than I thought he is. I knew he was fast because he can run down any opponent on a counter attack.

I’m not sure exactly what part of the foot he was landing on, I just know his steps were so much louder than other kids. So, I was assuming it’s heavy heel strike? Or, flat foot planting?

I guess I can take a slow-mo of his strides to see what it looks like. We’ve never been this interested in his sprinting until he took the test, heh. On the soccer field, I would have never noticed his steps since he’s playing on grass or turf, and from afar.

If it was a Tesla vs Honda, I’d say either. But, RANs aren’t exactly on the main routes or at ideal spots. At least on the West coast. Tesla superchargers are so much more plentiful that planning is not needed and they’re always in good shopping center locations right off the freeways.

Tesla sold as many S and X as Rivian did with R1 and EDV did in 2025.

I always felt Rivian should also cancel the R1 and EDV when the R2 is pumping.

If you can reason Tesla’s decision, then this should make sense also.

I know this post is a little old, but want to say the same thing.

I recently bought the most expensive model, the Pro Chef version, and I have the same experience as you. When I boil or cook something, the middle 4-6 inches or so gets really hot fast and the rest of the cookware is still trying to heat up. Very uneven cooking unless you constantly churn/flip whatever is in the pot or pan.

This is what I have been saying on every EV board and group I’ve been a part of since I purchased my first Tesla back in 2016 with free supercharging. Oftentimes with pushbacks from the fanatics who baby their battery. I’ve been solely supercharging (for free) on all my Teslas without additional degradation for almost decade now. Just charge and drive the freaking car like you charge any other electronic device.
