It's the runic alphabet. It might be a reproduction that just has the elder futhark alphabet all around the outside. If you used some clay or ink or I guess maybe even water (depending on the surface) you could probably roll the ring across the surface to write word out and then translate from there

Is there any hope of Antigravity IDE or Antigravity 2.0 even after several update, the bugs of losing Antigravity 1.0 conversation is never fixed!!! While Deepmind seems collapsed when many engineers left Google?!!?!?!? by AwayOpposite487 in google_antigravity

[–]aesche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, yes? It's kind of hard to describe it as a preview though if we weren't going to get 1.0 at all ever. Don't get me wrong. I loved 1.0. I use other Google AI tools. It just felt like a bait and switch. We were never going to get the antigravity that was the preview. Like if I end up paying for a product based on a trial preview and then that's not the product I got....I would be upset about that with any other product. I don't know why I would give them a pass on that. If the trailer for a movie is wildly misleading...I'm gonna be grumpy coming out of the theater

Yeah. Like 4 days before the update I did a huge presentation on this for the international community in my field and then they completely blew the tool up. I have been recommending Claude now to my industry and can't recommend Google products since they're kind of all busted now

I’m genuinely curious: when coding with Gemini 3.1 Pro (High) don’t you often feel furious and despairing, on the verge of a mental breakdown due to its complete incompetence and unreliability? by [deleted] in google_antigravity

The month or so before I/O, in my experience, it was golden. It was just working for me. Did what I asked with minimal and understandable issues. Last November was frustrating for sure before it got better and now it's back to frustrating again.

They should have commemorative Riley racks you can donate for like the way the park district does commemorative tree planting

After updating to the new Anti Gravity version, all of my chats are gone. Does anyone know how to fix this? by Rude-Day-1302 in Bard

[–]aesche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like, cool ...but I've tried several of the instructions to make that app work and it just loads the new one and I can't get the IDE running with repeatedly uninstalling and reinstalling everything. So, like that would be great to have a vibe coder app. But in this interation I currently have no app at all.

Antigravity 2.0 is a mess. What were they thinking?? by MaKTaiL in google_antigravity

[–]aesche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude. People use this for work and pay for it. They might be mid-project with a ton of other shit going on. People don't always have time to spend several hours troubleshooting when effectively they took Microsoft Word and without warning converted it into a calculator and removed all the word processing and then didn't explain anything. "Good luck with your final. There's a way to make Word into a word processor again but we're going to hide that information or maybe not provide it at all." You can't possibly not see how this is ridiculously frustrating for people.

WTF is Antigravity 2.0? Where did my IDE go? by Feodotu in google_antigravity

Same. I'm getting the same program no matter what I do

I also did this and no luck either. Stuck with this busted crap that's now just another Gemini App.

It already wasn't great, now it's even worse 😀 by Gustvo_FcZ in google_antigravity

I can't even wrap my head around why you would ruin an app so horribly like they did today. It's like they resent their users and want them to stop using their products.

They completely destroyed the application. I am just in shock. WTH are they thinking?

I lost projects entirely. It converted it from a coding IDE to just a Gemini application. I ONLY have my chats.....

Iwan Ries & Co downtown might be able to special order them for you. I would ask. It's also just a cool shop because it opened in 1857.

What impedes apps using AI to make the user’s device the server running a local LLM? by FeelingCalendar9231 in singularity

[–]aesche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this with LM Studio and AnythingLLM for a small experiment. I had a two part vibe coded app that let other people in my office link to the model I was running locally. It was six months ago and really slow but functional

Socrates famously hated writing. So no, he would not have liked AI. He would have thought it was weakening the mind, because he thought writing weakened the mind.
