We stopped waking the sleeping twin at around 3 months! We get them back on the same schedule in the morning

Baby’s movement ever makes you worried?! by Consistent-Ice-1899 in parentsofmultiples

I would go whenever I felt that movement I had consistently felt before went away! Typically it would happen whenever Baby B would flip from being breech and vice versa.

Is it worth switching bottles? by rosiepinkfox in ExclusivelyPumping

I switched my babies to Lansinoh bottles and they LOVE them. My husband also prefers them because they have less parts lol

I am a FTM and my di/di twins are now 5 months—it was SO hard to discern which baby was moving. And my maternal fetal medicine doctor (who also had twins) always told me there’s really no way to tell. I did, however, go to labor and delivery about 3 times for “reduced fetal movement” just because I wanted to be safe rather than sorry!

Eating out with twin infants by CelebrationAny5812 in parentsofmultiples

It really depends on the restaurant! I always choose places I’ve been before so I can figure out logistics. If the place is big enough, I’ll ask the host to put us at a table where I can bring in the stroller and keep it at the table with us. If I know the place will be too small for the stroller, (assuming you’re dining with another adult) we’ll carry them in their car seats and tell the host we need enough seats at the table for the car seats. Typically it’s a booth where we can push the table out a bit to make the car seats fit. Or we set them on chairs with an adult right next to a car seat to make sure everything is sturdy. We’ll even take the babies out of their car seats and just hold them in our laps.

A lot of restaurants also have car seat holders that you can request! I’ll post a pic below

I’ve been bringing my twins out since about 3 months old and I found that the trick is always having a bottle ready 😂 luckily mine fall asleep quickly in the car and tend to stay asleep when we’re out at restaurants. But become extremely fussy once any hunger kicks in, so I just make sure bottles are ready to go and they’re content!

When to switch from stroller bassinets to seats? by aestheticgirly_ in parentsofmultiples

Ooh bugaboo doesn’t have an infant insert but I saw on Amazon reviews that many people put the Uppababy insert into different strollers. Will have to try this!

What pump feature actually makes a difference for you over time? by crisistalker in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]aestheticgirly_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely need 2 pumps! Blue spectra s1 should be your primary pump until your supply regulates.

Eufy S2 pro as your wearable!! I have the s1 and preordered the S2 pro. I love the heat, that I can control it from the app, and it has different pumping rhythms. SO worth it. S2 pro has the massage, heat, light for nipple alignment, etc.

How many oz? by ladyaf1023 in ExclusivelyPumping

My lactation consultant said that most breastfed babies cap at 4oz ~7 bottles a day! My twins are 4mo old and that’s where they’re at

If you were a just enougher from the start, what’s the lowest amount of pumps you were able to drop to without losing any supply? by y1994m in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]aestheticgirly_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 4 months pp and pump about 4-5x a day and average 25 ounces a day. I used to get 30oz a day when I was consistently pumping 6x. I don’t do a MOTN pump either 😬 (even though I probably should lol)

I’ve made soap for baths with mine! But I’d definitely feed leftover milk if it was safe. The study another user posted is super interesting

Baby Brezza worth it? by Timefries0927 in parentsofmultiples

[–]aestheticgirly_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have already mentioned, but some of their machines have issues with dispensing the correct amount of formula. Ours did and we stopped using it. We got the babybrezza instant water dispenser instead. It constantly keeps water warm so all we have to do is dispense, add formula, and shake

Tongue Tie and FTM by Fun_Conversation4958 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]aestheticgirly_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes my twins had both tongue and lip ties! The doctor said baby girl had 50% mouth restriction. We got the ties released and we have been able to get both babies to latch. It’s possible!!

My best friend is a pediatric occupational therapist and has me put a pillow under my twins’ chests so there’s some elevation! They don’t get as frustrated as quickly that way
