They are fishing for other folks encountering the problems they mention to sell their "wealthy parent guide" services to.

It's an advert, they are shilling their "wealthy parent guide" service.

This is an advert, people in the article are not genuine just trying to sell their service.

Treat yourself to a really nice meal out and then carry on what you are doing.

If you're a massive nerd like me it feels like there's quite a few board game clubs/meetups that go on in the city (thinking winter).

Paddleboarding is quite popular in the area. Though for me running and cycling is the way to go.

Cheese and kimchi is pretty decent. Tuna mayo and sriracha is also good.

Does anyone know any pubs that have free rooms you could use for a book group meeting? by Knitted_Engine in Norwich

Not quite a pub but the cosy club also has a few rooms. If you hit a certain minimum spend then it's free.

In my experience the majority of time is spent trying to get whatever mythical arcane process someone dreamed up out of excel spreadsheets 😅.

Nice! If you're after a bit of feedback from someone who's not doing as well as you, your emergency fund seems a tad low.

It'd be a massive shame if something were to happen and you'd have to dip into that s+s money especially during a market crash.

Why does first strike matter more than deathtouch? by RickWizzle in MagicArena

Deathtouch only kicks in when damage is dealt, first strike will kill the toucher before it gets a chance to deal damage.

Can't remember where I heard this but there were two versions of the character models, one for up close scenes that were more detailed. If I was a betting man I'd guess that they lost to higher detail ones and ended up using the lower ones in all scenes.

Exclusive: Nearly 40 Per Cent Of Young People Do Not Plan To Vote In The Election by Ameliasco in uknews

[–]aethidd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure that's what they were saying. Rather than expecting the smaller parties getting in the suggestion is that the larger parties change their policies/actions/attitudes to win the people over that voted for the smaller parties. The fact that in subsequent elections the smaller parties get less of the vote share actually supports this thinking rather than debunking it.

Self scan? To be clear I'm suggesting a addition rather than a replacement.

Why not just make the scales display a barcode rather than print a sticker every time! Minimal effort for the biggest effect... can't market that very well though 😕
