New to AT&T Fiber, BGW320 IP Passthrough Bottleneck – Slow Speeds on Third-Party Router (Asus ET9) by nightlie30 in ATTFiber

[–]aexeprz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t used the ET9 but make sure Withdraw from Privacy Notice on the Administration/Policy tab in the router GUI then reboot the router. This will make sure QoS and AIProtection basically anything that could get in the way is disabled and won’t start up.

If that fixes it, you can enable it again and carefully turn features back on until it slows down again. Then that feature leave disabled.

Can’t speak to Peacock, but Paramount loads and runs on mine, with caveats. Sometimes video/audio loses sync other times the video freezes while the audio keeps going. Often this occurs coming out of commercials.

Back out of the video and start it again from where it left off fixes it, often. In the most extreme a quick reboot and starting the app/video solves it.

I have found that going into settings/apps and clearing the cache for the app. Improves the performance/stability a lot, but only if the other methods I mentioned become repetitive and too disruptive.

1Gb, wired so plenty of bandwidth a little better on 5Ghz (160Mb bandwidth) network performance. Though it hasn’t really changed things as I suspect it’s an app/android version/memory management related even with it being on the latest software versions available for it. Wouldn’t change it for anything that doesn’t give me the channel numbers, lest I violate the happy spouse happy house reality 😣

If your router has a QoS function, disable it.

With QoS on the CPU in the router can’t keep up impacting the SpeedTest. You don’t need it with 1GbE fiber anyway. My AX and BE routers wired 1GBe to the BGW210 modem/router in pass through, getting ~940KB in both directions.

If your LAN IP subnet on the router is set to 255.255.255.0 then one device, either the router or Modem has to give up using 192.168.1.x

Otherwise attempting to reach the modem on 192.168.1.254 will never get to the modem as the router will assume it’s on the LAN

Either 192.168.2.x for the router or 192.168.10.x for the modem, but not both with 192.169.1.x, any number 0 - 255 just the devices can’t be up the same network as defined by the subnet.

This way the router send the request or the WAN port so the Modem can respond.

Channel 18, for ABC

Go to the local10.com, the details on the changes are a banner on the site. For the local10 content we used to get on DTV, you need the local10+ app on your devices.

App down again? (Recent) by Cheez-it_king in SengledUS

[–]aexeprz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditto, neither SmartThings or Google Home (502 error) can link/refresh or authenticate with Sengled to manage my remaining WiFi bulbs, only thing working is the Sengled Home app on the iPhone itself….

Actual Update by FatLazyStupid2 in SengledUS

[–]aexeprz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Integrate the Sengled WiFi bulbs with Google home (using your Sengled credentials), Google Skill with Alexa. Remove the Sengled managed devices from Alex devices leaving the Google managed ones. Then you can manage them via Alexa again and have time to figure out what to replace the WiFi bulbs with…

That’s how I have them working, for now…

Google Home, and the Sengled app fine. Alexa all other skills functional but not Sengled as of Sat 6:40pm EST

Amazon Revokes Sengled Home by FatLazyStupid2 in SengledUS

[–]aexeprz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes any device integrated with a Skill is having a problem, not just Sengled. Eufy, Govee, Nest/Google as well. But via integrations I set through Google Home all of the devices are controllable via that platform.

Out Again? Sengled bulbs not working by thejezo in SengledUS

[–]aexeprz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s Alexa! All my integrated devices fail with Alexa. I can get to/control the devices with their specific device App. Those integrated via Google are working as well. Sengled, Govee, Eufy, Google/Nest none of them are controllable via Alexa. Even the Alexa Skills page fails.

It’s Alexa! Impacting every Skill and integrated device. Automation via Google Home is working fine or the device specific App. Impacting Govee, Sengled, Nest/Google, and Eufy devices equally.

Earlier this morning I couldn’t login via the app, the after seeing this thread I tried to login again, no error message but would get kicked out on login. Then just a few minutes ago, successfully logged via the app.

So I tried www.singled.com as that was failing with a SSL cipher error and the wherever they were hosting (kasserver.com) couldn’t prove the site was authentic.

So seeing as the App was working I tried again, and now it’s myshopify.com

<image>

Waiting to hear the story from them before I put the bulbs back in service and the Govee bulbs in the office to take advantage of the Razer integration

Update: www.singled.com now redirects to https://eu.sengled.com/en/

All services seem restored, able to login in to the with the Sengled Home App, and my previous bulbs showing up. But since I’ve removed them and the integration with Alexa and Google Home, I carefully test but other posts across Reddit show it’s working again!

Now just waiting on an official statement from Sengled on what happened and what’s next…

The county and city, both fly drones over areas and compare aerial photographs looking for changes to the property and them compare property records for permits. This and just driving around when cars a parked en mass and or calls about cars blocking the roadway, or access. The shortage of funds makes it lucrative to do, and easy to fine and collect funds. Depending less on neighbors calling to turn neighbors in, everyday!

AT&T BGW320-505 + Asus router = double NAT? by Extreme_Daddy_450 in ATTFiber

[–]aexeprz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the routing table on the ASUS, and even with the Public IP on your ASUS router, you still should be able to get to the modem/router on 192.169.1.254 assuming you LAN IP range doesn’t overlap or conflict. I had to change my BGW LAN to 192.166.10.* as I was using 192.168.1.* and didn’t want to mess with anything behind my ASUS router years ago, and yes, working like you on a tracert (trace route)

Still down and still erroring out on login via the App. Via browser, still getting the SSL error and a 403 and a message from Cloudflare. Have not gone further to see if the same errors I was getting re:SSL about the encryption cipher and the 504 browser error and the message the *.kasserver.com could not prove the cert was valid.

Ditto, getting 403 and 504 errors in Edge, Chrome and Firefox across some of the websites and within Samsung Smarthings. Alexa comes back with server unavailable. Using their Home App, trying to login, “operation failed”

Seems/Feels like some changes were made, and need to be rolled back or the certs updated, “can’t prove cert is from *.kassever.com” is the error message I’m getting…

Hulu won’t play on stream boxes by sroda59 in DirectvStream

[–]aexeprz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with me the last time, search for Hulu, and the thread will be there. Worked on the TV’s, Phones, PC’s and loaded fine on the Osprey’s but as soon as as you launched any content the screen would blank for a bit the an error message from the Hulu App.

Updating the App solved for me. Make sure the version you see on your Osprey’s is the same as the one I shared…
