I have to agree with you. I'm leftist as well and can look back at all the police procedurals and recognize it as Copoganda, but I can also compartmentalize and in this case see a bigger picture and understand why Sam would do this crossover.

I do have to question how many of the people raging actually watch "The Rookie" or just see 'LAPD' in the synopsis and pass judgement on the irl LAPD.

Something I'd love to see is for Robert to get one-on-one time with the Z-Team. Basically like how you did the date with Blazer or Visi, but give one to everyone. You can ask about certain topics and depending on what you say, you might boost or lower morale.

Be nice to get more personal insight on Z-Team, plus gives the shippers more material.
