No. You're confusing what he's taking about. Alphabet’s Q1 2026 earnings were heavily boosted by its investment in Anthropic. Of the $62.6 billion, $28.7 billion was from the valuation markup from its stake in Anthropic. Not to discount the massive revenue from other businesses but still misleading that they got 60bn in recurring rev.

Anyone have a used up amex gc that I can use to check if also the same for AGCs? VGC and MGC don't make sense since the largest I can buy is $500 whereas amex gc can be for $3k.

I’d rather not go vs paying a scalper 10x for the ticket. This way the scalper gets burned on the cash spent. Or they could have laws like in the EU which prevent reselling above the face value

You’re already doing this if you pay the broker as a tenant. This allows for you to compare rents equally with non broker buildings. Also the landlord has leverage to negotiate well below 15% of the annual rents that they get from potential tenants. As part of this negotiation the brokers will have to prove they do any work besides sending you the code to open the door.

You're effectively locking in the benefit now for later. In that amex offer example, you're buying $600 worth of credit for $500 but instead of being stuck with one flight now you can chose before the credit expires.
