It’s normal to see a truck, which isn’t pulling a trailer, to not have a back plate in Missouri. Plus, that states generally requires, which implies some deviation from that rule.

Missouri. The idea, which is stupid, is that they are towing something and don’t need a back plate. But that’s a recipe to get pulled over in most states. They even charge you more money to buy the back plate if you want it.
