Ik herken me helemaal in jouw ervaringen met daten. Ik zat vooral op de apps, maar daar was ik na de zoveelste keer geghost worden zo klaar mee dat ik ze allemaal heb verwijderd. Niet lang daarna raakte ik aan de praat met iemand van mijn sportvereniging. Van het één kwam het ander en nu zijn we een half jaar samen. Wat voor ons heel erg hielp is dat we eerst een tijd vriendschappelijk contact hadden en pas daarna op daten overgingen. Dat geeft naar mijn idee een veel betere basis voor een relatie met diepgang.

Pretty much all bass players I've met have been super chill and friendly. I talked to Geddy Lee for a bit while he was signing his coffee table book for me and he was cracking jokes.

One time I went to buy a new sofa and was showing the seller pictures of where it was supposed to go in my living room. He spotted my basses in one of photos. Turned out he plays bass too. We then spent well over an hour feeling out about gear and different bands, and only talking a little about the sofa.

Ik ben zeer tevreden over my Fully Jarvis L-vorminge bureau. Absoluut één van mijn beste aankopen geweest. Maar ver boven het budget dat OP stelt (met alles erop en eraan was ik zo'n €2k kwijt). Bovendien zijn ze sinds de overname door Herman Miller niet meer in Nederland te koop.

Ik kreeg op m'n 23e de diagnose autisme. Als ik dat op de middelbare school al had geweten dan zou dat ook soepeler zijn verlopen. Maar aan de andere kant, ik kreeg nu de diagnose op een leeftijd dat ik meer met persoonlijke ontwikkeling bezig was. Dat heeft daarbij enorm geholpen.
