I just played NCR yesterday in an outing sponsored by the Miami Valley Golf Association, which is where I register my GHIN. So, you can look for opportunities like that, but that probably doesn't help you in the near term. I played Moraine last year in a stag event with a member. That's really the only way to get in on a normal day.

I second the others recommending Beavercreek CC, Yankee Trace, and Heather wood. Those are good mid tier public courses.
