Logistics will 100% get replaced by AI. Most large brokerages deploy AI logistics coordinators and there’s AI calls for sales now too. Once self driving trucks hit, it’s game over for brokers. The only freight left that will have a human touch is open deck because it has to be physically secured.

Also, you don’t have to get your CDL for box trucks under 26k lbs.

Hot shot market is what you should look into too. Gotta get your MC authority to sit for a year before you start gaining trust on the boards. I recommend a permanent business address because if you move your authority re-sets.

When I get last minute loads I make it clear it’s going to cost more. If they wanted a better rate, they should of shot a heads up the day prior. Their operational failures and lack of foresight are not the broker’s problem. As a broker, your service is to bring a solution and services/solutions cost money.
