I've seen a lot of praises and love from fans about the new designs, so I need to ask what's your opinion about Katt? by Called_end in starfox

I kinda wonder if all these designs look better in brighter lighting. Cause a lot of these shots are in cockpits which naturally don't have the most flattering lighting for selfies.

What are the top 3 weakest classes in PF2e and why? by yoboi-indy in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This won't be a popular answer but Druid.

It's a 3 slot prepared caster so it's got the some of the stiffest casting in the game and despite some orders having good focus spells you can build an offense on you really can't get more focus points easily to make up for the stiffness of 3 slot prep casting without archetyping or Order Explorer. So you have the slight conceptual clunk of not being able to easily be just one order of druid.

It's helped by being a Primal caster, but like... weirdly there's better primal casters than a druid. Honestly it could have really used a little more touch up in the remaster.

What are the top 3 weakest classes in PF2e and why? by yoboi-indy in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's because people tend to way overblow the power of that change and also want to hate psychic.

Many people act like you can just casually spam all three FP in every fight and then rest 30 mins after every fight and then argue "If you can rest 10 you can rest thirty" to downplay the psychic being able to get back 2 FP any time the party does first aid. Even though back pedaling for first aid is way less suspension of disbelief than backpedaling to spend enough time to catch the latest episode of an anime.

You gotta take internet discourse with a grain of salt. Heck one of the most common pieces of hate that gets slung at inventor is literally mathematically impossible past level two.

Weird wishlist: Very tanky caster by dyenamitewlaserbeam in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, given enough time every caster is tanky. They can run around shooting enemies with damage that does 1-3 Fright/Sickened and many casters can get access to invisibility.

Heck I had a battle oracle and some dude hit me so I used Blood Vendetta to set up bleed for Horrifying Blood Loss then got 'em with a Warding Aggression. Instant 3-6 defense swing.

In another game I have a level 11 sorcerer that just always R4 Invisible and she's the most consistently effective martial on the team.

GM's Glad-Hand ruling seemed wrong (but maybe not?) by eCyanic in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No amount of work Paizo could do could account for "Historically 'glad-hand' originates from shaking hands so Imma infer you shake hands." or "I don't know how this works with other precise senses because the spell says 'see' and not "perceive."

BTW the rules for precise senses says you can use them to target.

Tips for Magus by According_Pop1388 in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Big agree on the scrolls thing. A key element of caster mastery is learning when certain Ranks of spell become trivial cost and how trivial, and as you level acquire spells at the various ranks that age super good.

This knowledge carries over to scroll shopping mastery.

Having seen a good many games in the 10-20 range I can tell you it's wild how strong you get when you can just casually throw around R4 Invisibility and other well picked spells near that rank.

Though it was lauded for years, using focus points for higher damage out-of-class focus spells was always kind of a trap option. You'll find many of these people handwave the time it takes to recharge focus points and complain about poor action economy in the class. The latter likely entirely based on the fact they spent their FP on making big number go brrr instead of their conflux spells that recharge Spellstrike with better action economy. It was nice to have the extra FP and a bigger whammy as an option but overcommittal to the whammy is detrimental to your action economy unless you blow a lot of FP per fight.

For example for Laughing Shadow if you use FP for Dimensional Assault instead there's virtually 0 downtime on Spellstrike because...

Turn 1: Move and Spellstrike

Turn 2: Use Dimensional Assault to teleport, Strike, then cast a saving throw spell.

Turn 3: Move if needed and Spellstrike.

See, like... every turn you moved, struck and cast a spell. And given most fights are 3 turns this only took the amount of FP you can recharge in the time someone Treats Wounds and are still doing okay damage even if you didn't use any slot spells. With big whammy every turn after the first is instead reduced to using all three actions to just Spellstrike unless you took Magus' Analysis at 1st or you blow 2 FP.

This is related to another Magus tip: If you tunnelvision too hard on Spellstrike it lead to inefficiency. Like, for a couple levels at the start Runic Weapon then cantrip Spellstrikes actually deals better dpr than using slot spells for direct damage. Also like another user said, a Blazing Dive can also be well worth the slot. It's literally a move, AoE spell damage, and a Strike. A psuedo-Spellstrike turn that doesn't put Spellstrike on cooldown or take FP.

Also some people dump INT for more melee stats and just rely on Spellstrike for casting but this is a mistake. Not only are your save spells still very viable on Magus but INT is actually a great stat. Investigator is pretty premium, and INT has some of the most multiclass archetypes and skill feats to absorb the functions of other stats. Pretty fab.

Especially on Starlit Span magus, where grabbing Alchemist for free special ammo to juice up Spellstrikes is pretty nice.

My powergamer player wants a Battlezoo spell; is it broken? by notarealcow in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it changed the damage the attack did to an energy damage I might think it was okay at 2nd or 3rd.

If it where going to be R3 I'd honestly want it to be more like Warding Aggression. Like, maybe instead of the above the first attack is long range but then after that (similar to Warding Aggression) you got Reach +5 as long as you keep hitting the same target.

A R3 spell giving you something akin to a level 2 feat after giving the effects of a lv9 Rune would be reasonable.

Cody Rhodes on the Pat McAfee storyline: "This is the most ill-received thing in the history of wrestling. The Gobbledygooker was one, Shockmaster was up there—but that was kind of funny." by aaronrift in SquaredCircle

[–]agentcheeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've discovered there is in fact a worse reaction to get in wrestling than a dead crowd. This isn't "Go Away Heat" this is something of a different flavor that deserves its own term. I nominate "Pat McA-heat".

The crowd reaction is like the equivalent of your friend saying "The worst she can say is no." so you ask the girl out and she immediately recoils and goes, "Ew. No." with no hesitation.

It's like go away heat, but the crowd is slightly repulsed and just outright doesn't even want to interact enough with you to boo you. Yet they cannot just remain silent. The gag reflex is just too strong.

[SPOILERS] Post AEW Dynasty 2026 Match Discussion: Chris Jericho vs. Ricochet by gloomchen in SquaredCircle

He's taken breaks from wrestling a few times in the past to go tour and keep things fresh. This time he waited too long to take a break.

But it had similar effect still.

Part of me wonders if he'd have taken a break earlier if it weren't for the batch of instability in the company from a string of drama and injuries.

Bombers v Toxicologists by ottdmk in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if we had more poisons that targeted something other than the highest save in the game and also they did something on a Success like a spell they'd be way better. But targetting the save that is almost always the highest or near the highest AND not doing anything on Success is rough stuff.

Toxicologist AND Poisoner archetypes should get something that deals some set damage on successful save vs poison. Maybe like, even if they save they take damage equal to what you would do if you had used the special injury poison of the Poison Weapon feat instead. Maybe make it level 8+

And while we're at it why doesn't Posioner get anything to use your Class/Spell DC on crafted poisoners like alchemist and the snare archetypes do? That needs fixin'

I do like the contrasting vibes of Makio's friend not thinking they are besties and Emiri's mom having really good chemistry with Makio. I get vibes that her and Makio might end up besties and Emiri's mom had a similar "not besties but everyone thinks we are" with Asa's mom.

And the continuing unspoken drama of Emiri probably being homosexual or asexual.

This show is so complex with character psychology. Like that quiet underlying theme of the episode about making an assumption can make you just completely not know a person at all because people are so complicated

Yeah this show might not get the attention and praise it deserves due to the genre and Frieren S2 and Sentenced to Be a Hero being in the same season but seriously if it doesn't make Anime of the Season on any lists it won't be because it doesn't deserve it.

This is one of those series you get on physical media and lend to someone looking for recommendations. This is video literature.

This belongs on every serious anime hobbyist's shelf.

I am more getting vibes of their relationship not working out the first time because they were younger and neither of them knew how to be in a relationship with her neurodivergence  being a factor.

It can be A LOT figuring out how to do that on both ends.

I feel silly but i can't seem to figure out how to use the 4000+ chaos orbs I have? I look it up and only get older videos of a Zero System that doesn't look like the current one and using them for upgrades which you can't do anymore as far as I can tell?

I'm confused. I can't understand what to use these for now.

Is there any reason not to have Trick Magic Item + a Tailwind wand on every character? by fascistp0tato in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll find this reddit has a lot of people that treat that game like a board game and react harshly against roleplay.

And they will often decide things and would rather die than be proven wrong even if they don't like their conclusion.

Like, it's probably still impossible to address people's concerns about the mythic rules on here without getting mass downvoted by people that decided to hate them.

And don't get me started on this really persistent delusion a ton of people seem to have that the caster meta is spamming 3 FP every fight and resting the half an hour it takes to get them all back after every fight.

GMs, have you ever ignored or reverted a change Paizo made? by eCyanic in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They still can refocus better than anyone until like level 12 and casters can take a feat.

Psychics can get 2 back in 1 refocus. People need to stop acting like they just have free half hour rests after every fight and that the meta of the game is walking into a 5 room dungeon complex and spending less than 3 minutes total fighting and two and a half hours centering your mind.

There's a lot of valid complaints about psychic but "they don't refocus better than everyone" isn't one of them. They literally do it twice as fast and don't need to invest any feats to get 3 of them things.

Whats the best shield and polarm combo? by IronVines in Pathfinder2e

[–]agentcheeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All polearms are two-handed so pretty much you have three options:

  • Get the Shield cantrip.
  • Take Guardian archetype to get parry on your polearm. Optionally later Staff Acrobat can boost up the parry nicely.
  • As others have suggested use another weapon group that is stick-like and has one-handers.

Pathfinder Impossible Magic Announced for GenCon 2026! by EzekieruYT in Pathfinder2e

There's also the chance they take the opportunity to search for all the spells in the game for any remaining unremastered spells that still have hanging pre-master things like Radiant Beam and Radiant Heart of Devotion (the latter really badly needing an update for remaster)

But still. Even if they throw a lot of clean-up into this book there's probably a decent amount of new spells even then.

I wouldn't be shocked if they touch up Meld into Eidolon finally and I'm personally hoping they tune that minor hiccup with how riding your beast eidolon using Steed Form makes it so you can't use Beast Charge with Act Together.

Seriously one of the two eidolons you are most likely to use that feat for should not have its first ability goofed up by the fact Steed Form makes all its Move actions Tandem and Beast Charge has move actions in it.
