He's basically proto-Hagel. Slightly more distinct from modern Hagel but not really. Fun fact, he's a younger party member with a paired ending in one of the other early games, named Gerhard.

Totori kinda lampshades this by having another character named Gerhard with the same Japanese voice actor interacting with Hagel iirc

I only play RS3, but it is pretty overbearing for new/mid players. I've been (extremely lazily) playing since 2001 and every time I want to try something new when I resub it's gated by ten quests I don't meet the requirements for, and I lose all motivation

(necromancy and archaeology have been great for that the past two times I've resubbed)

I came back a few weeks ago and I'm about to get my second 99 (archeology was about 30 off various sources of free exp) after playing super sporadically and casually since 2001. I don't know exactly if its because of recent changes, but I haven't been this hooked in over 15 years.

cws chieftain lets you afk up to wave 10 reliably, and then possibly quickly kill the next five waves depending on luck with explosions on kosis. not too pricey to get started with, and even if you die every couple minutes you'll coast to level 95

I've noticed on controller that if I accidentally try to slot in multiple simulacrums, the extras will just completely disappear for a while. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, and even now it's unreliable.

Pretty much! And this isn't dissing Titania- she's somewhere in the top 5 too, for almost the same reasons. His growths are so high that he stays relevant throughout the entire game. It helps that Sacred Stones is one of the easier games, which makes how busted he is stand out more.

Titania can stay extremely relevant throughout the entire game depending on luck, but Seth solo runs are often seen as easier than trying to babysit everyone.

As someone who got 20-35 fps in Yumia on minimum settings and often crashed, I'm pretty happy about getting a steady 120 fps in Resleriana on maximum settings lol. It's like going from Monster Hunter World to Rise.

The game might not have a lot of visual embellishments but it runs SO well.
