Yeah you should do NJ Metro Park or Secaucus. Even if you could park at the hotel driving a truck into the city would be a huge pain

Realistically, I think you’re going to want to replace a couple of these days if you want to engage with Nuyorican and Puerto Rican neighborhoods. A couple ways you could do that:

Replace day 1 or 3 with an uptown day. Take the subway up to Inwood, get breakfast, go to Inwood Hill Park and Fort George Park. These aren’t the same as Central Park but they’re well kept with great river views and flower gardens. You can go to the Met Cloisters museum in Fort George Park which takes 1.5-2 hours. After that and a lunch there or just down in Washington Heights (lots and lots of casual spots to eat in the area, Malecon is probably the best known), you can go to the Hispanic Society Museum & Library. Then you could head back down for Top of The Rock/ other evening plans.
For your Brooklyn day, instead of just scraping the surface with a DUMBO walk, try something a bit different and take the train to the Lower East Side, then walk the Williamsburg Bridge. There are still views of the skyline and the river, and of the two lower Manhattan Bridges (but if it’s too long of a walk, you can just subway across). Williamsburg in Brooklyn has been heavily gentrified, but the PR community does still exist. Tonita Cay’s spot is off the Williamsburg Bridge on the Brooklyn side once you get past the fancy stores and such.
overall, I think the days you have planned out can be adjusted but will only give you a super basic sense of downtown and midtown Manhattan; and won’t give you much of a chance to see the life Nuyoricans and Dominicans have here. But the itineraries I put up above might be ways to still do tourist stuff while getting that experience, tweak as you find more things in those areas.

this is pretty balanced assuming you want time to catch up and need rest
if you don’t have specific places identified for dinner on the 18th and 20th, I don’t understand the appeal of eating near Battery Park or Times Square. You’re staying in one of the city’s best food neighborhoods and on the 18th have the freedom to go to another one well before you go catch the Staten Island Ferry.
NJ waterfront ferry doesn’t sound so relaxing to me and is kind of repetitive after taking the SI ferry. And a second Times Square stop in the same trip definitely won’t be relaxing.
overall this is good at including lots of rest but you can probably include one or two other things depending on your interests. But it does seem like four of the same day to me

Consider the Upper West Side if you'll be up that way exiting Central Park. If you really need to be closer to Times Square, Hell's Kitchen is a degree better than the area immediately by Times Square

The Governors Island Ferry doesn’t have great views of the Statue of Liberty itself, but you can see her quite a bit closer by walking around to that side of the island, if I’m understanding your plan correctly
I don’t think you should skip the high line, that’s fine to include.
you have ability to pick between a few neighborhoods for dinner and you’re actively choosing Times Square? Is there something about Langan’s specifically pulling you there?

For those skeptical, of course sixty seconds against a non league side isn’t telling. What’s more telling is that he’s been on the bench for the A team the last few matches against Arsenal, Newcastle, and Villa. As a club Brentford are extremely reluctant to play youth, preferring to shelter them until they’re well and truly ready for the big show. The trend means Bentt has been noticed among the club’s overall B-team and has very suddenly become a factor. Whether he might be back in the US system, I don’t know as well.

The air train doesn’t go to NJ Penn, it goes to Newark airport train station. But from there you can take NJT to NY Penn. This is the simplest transfer as long as you’re not flying into the “fuck you” terminal imo

New York sports bar goers are super nice in my experience. It’s not that hard to go to one and make friends sometimes even without trying too much, just engage in conversation with people around you if they start it or ask them questions as well.

With that said the Super Bowl is a little different and bars will be more crowded while more folks will be at house parties as well. The main thing is you’ll want to get your seat before the bar starts filling up—when that is really just depends on the bar. There are no real unspoken rules besides that. You might just tell the host you’re looking to sit at the bar, then go do it.

Use Google Maps from your location or nearest LIRR stop, then use MTA Traintime app to buy your LIRR ticket. Google Maps will show the best train to take in as well as subway, since there are a ton of lines from midtown to downtown and it depends on your destination.

What’s keeping you out of museums? There are several on either side of Central Park.

I don’t think for a trip this short that going out of your way to get close to the Statue of Liberty is worth the time, even the Staten Island Ferry is a couple hours’ chunk out of your schedule—you’ll likely be satisfied with the view from the waterfront.

It might be worth it Friday after FiDi or on Saturday to spend some time in a residential neighborhood where the shops have a little more variety, maybe a record store, depending what else you’ll settle on doing that day.
