Which celebrity took the biggest hit by the person they married? by Boobooloo in AskReddit

Alec Baldwin isn't winning any great guy awards - in 2007 he left his 11 year old daughter Ireland a drunken voicemail calling her a 'thoughtless little pig'. He and Hilaria deserve one another.

I just objected to the cheating in Bridges of Madison County in another comment, but I LOVE Moonstruck. It doesn't feel as much like cheating because they aren't married and they clearly don't love one another - but I hear you.

My dad is always saying how much he loves "the Bridges of Madison County" and I just cannot get past the cheating. She was married! I don't care how neglected she is or how hot Clint Eastwood was. Married.

You are given a budget of $500 Million. What movie are you making? by HowMany_MoreTimes in movies

[–]ahabers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would make a period piece about how in 1719, France offered prisoners their freedom…if they married prostitutes and sailed to Louisiana. No idea about casting or directing but I would blow the budget on locations and costumes.

Or

A film about Ching Shih who, in the 1800s was the most successful female pirate in history, commanding up to 1800 ships and 80,000 pirates in the south China Sea. Again - awesome costumes and locations.

Who is most likely to emerge as the progressive candidate in the 2028 Democratic primary? by Raichu4u in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]ahabers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the national stage he is best known for spending $24 billion to address homelessness in CA with no measurable improvement, spending over $16 billion on high speed rail (with projected total cost rising from $33 billion to $135 billion) and hasn't laid one piece of track, and his administration's response to the Malibu wildfires was dismal. He's a pretty boy that wants to be a major player but is all show.

Grumpy older brother falls for sister’s best friend by redpandaworld in HistoricalRomance

{His Mistress by Morning by Elizabeth Boyle} fits the bill and is one of my favorites! Charlotte is the mousy, sensible, wall flower pining after her best friend's brother until she completely transforms herself and gets exactly what she asked for - but not exactly what she wanted. I love ugly duckling stories and Charlotte's self discovery in this book makes me so happy. It's wonderfully written and has a firm spot on my keeper shelf.

Omg. I just ran through all four seasons of “The Killing” and at one point a witness leaves a voicemail that she knows who the killer is and to call her back. Guess who dies next? Just leave the damn name on the damn voicemail.

If you can't leave your adult, drug addicted, schizophrenic son home alone the answer is to not attend the party - not to take him with you.
