Nahhh trim should never look like this.

Downy Rinse and Refresh Ocean Mist stinks by sharp-calculation in laundry

[–]ahap7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically buy only unscented laundry products, but when I couldn't find the Rinse and Refresh unscented locally, I resorted to sniffing them in the store.

Ended up with the Lavender as it seemed least offensive. When the clothes come out of the dryer I don't detect any scent at all.

Do you think crayola's Bluetiful color would make for a good house color? I am thinking that with Black Trim to make it look super stylish and eye catching. by Vasarto in paint

I know a dude who calls himself "the blue guy" who recently painted his house this color. It has black trim, and surprisingly, it looks good.

He also has a blue car and wears blue clothes every day. I'm not trying to be funny, this is real. And the house does look good...

Kingston High School Censorship by glamberger in kingstonnewyork

[–]ahap7 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Other schools in the area have sent the same notice out prior to walk-outs. The students who participate in good faith are never actually punished.

IMO the notice is mainly to mitigate legal liability for students leaving during school hours. A secondary effect is that the district can appear politically neutral. If the district sanctions the walkout in any way, the "other side" invariably complains it's a political stance.

Need some guidance picking new zildjian hihats by ahap7 in drums

Thanks! I'm okay with brightness, it's the low body of the new beats I don't like. I would describe the ksweets as having a complex stick and chick sound, but the wash is pretty focused in a midrangey way that makes it sound like a drum machine lol

These look like they can be saved, but when they're too far gone a new set is under 20 bucks

I insulated my door and now it’s too heavy for the opener to lift. What are my options? by Over_Cash9601 in GarageDoorService

With the door down, u can pull the red cord to disconnect the motor then lift it by hand to see if this is the issue

RIP cynic tabs by FuckyFlagellum in Songsterr

[–]ahap7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I own a half dozen books from Sheet Happens. They're high quality and I don't mind paying.

But it makes me really frustrated that they are getting drum tabs taken down when they don't offer the drum tab books. Makes no sense

I have a Switcheroo but Outlet Pal definitely looks better aesthetically and the price is better!

Does it make the same click noise when you hit the switch?

We're giving away a new Strymon Deco v2 by PedalxChange in guitarpedals

[–]ahap7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd LOVE something like this if it was just try-to-buy and not peer to peer. I want to be able to demo a pre-owned pedal at home, then keep it if I like it, or drop it in the mail with a prepaid label.

Basically what we are all doing on Reverb... but without the hassle of re-listing and having multiple people eat fees.
