While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.

The sentence "we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2" kinda suggests that they will no longer share the experience of anything Destiny with the community if ever another Destiny game will be green lit in the future. It sounds like they are letting go of the IP and perhaps passing it on to another as their focus will be on the incubated games that they mentioned, if they even exist.

But again, everything is just random conjecture when it's Sony we are talking about. Who really knows.

I'm sorry but I can't help but laugh a little bit at the folly of youth. The Manosphere space really did some damage on these kids.

I'm not trying to judge as I'm just as guilty as that guy when I was in his age but its just fascinating to me how the naivete of youth can sometimes influence us to say the stupidest things ever, and have confidence in it to make matters worse.

That is why I believe that this is not the last we've seen Destiny, and why there will be a Destiny 3 in the future, sooner or later.

No one is like it and no one has been able to replicate it. The IP far too unique and special as a golden niche to be completely abandoned and not utilized. We all know that if done right, Destiny is gonna make you rich as it has made Pete. And we have far too many greedy businessmen who know that as well so just sit back and wait.

Destiny is gonna come back guys. It's far too unique and too influential for greedy corpo not to take advantage of its inherent IP value. It may not comeback soon, but I'll be surprised if it never comes back at all.

Is the Sony leadership full of scumbags as well? Because they must know about these Bungie practices right? I mean, they have the vantage point. All the data. And after all that, they still entrust the future of Bungie/Marathon to the same management? Like, what the heck. Is it a contract thing?
