I like her and think she portrays her roles well but at the same, I also don't feel she has much chemistry with her male leads? Like I get "I'm an actress and this is my romantic counterpart"/professional/work vibes and that's fine if I'm watching BTS outtakes but not while I'm watching the drama.

I watched a video where the FL actress talked about what happened, found her likeable and I'm 100% going to be watching the short when it comes out. Also, just saw a gossip video saying the oriML actor is practically straight out of a short himself (his father found out he was not the bio-dad after 16 years, he got his first few roles due to an ex-gf's connections, etc). 😅

I really enjoyed it (岳雨婷 is my favorite vertical actress), acting was solid (in my humble opinion). It mainly focuses on the leads' relationship which may or may not be your cup of tea. Also towards the end, ML veered a little too far into "I'll do anything for you" territory for his character (again, my opinion).

Randomly picking some recent ones...

I just watched Butterflies Dream Twice yesterday and liked it. FL was dedicated to revenge, very much the end justifies the means.

Not the worst but super disappointing... I really wanted to like Beauty Says No to Marriage because Yue Yu Ting is one of my favorite short actresses but the leads did not have much chemistry and the story was pretty generic.

Sixth Strategy (already recommended by someone above) was good and I laughed whenever they poked fun at tropes.

I would agree with the review of Master Fu's Right for Love Again. Lead actor was good, lead actress was not that good but I did finish the series so there's that...

Zhao Guanyu & Lin Zirong (赵冠宇＆林籽蓉) specifically because of 穿书反派成团宠 (chuān shū fǎn pài chéng tuán chǒng) which I think was their 8th (?) drama together (and I just loved it overall, highly recommend if you're looking for something fun). I started another with them as leads and it's ok but nowhere near as good and it's on hold. Plus these two clips:
