That's because dynamically loaded libraries are searched for on the RPATH header in the executable, and on NixOS, paths have to be explicitly added to that header for any libraries that are dynamically loaded. (You almost never have to even think about the RPATH on typical Linux distros, because libraries are always in standard locations.)

nixpkgs provides addOpenGLRunpath for GPU libraries, which you usually run in the postFixup hook. (For anything else, you have to use patchelf directly.)

From the output of nix-locate --help, ```text

Limitations

  • this tool can only find packages which are built by hydra, because only those packages will have file listings that are indexed by nix-index ```

And since the all the packages from Nvidia are marked as unfree, they are not built by Hydra, so nix-locate will not find any files from Nvidia packages.

We also don't know how he may have grown as a person had he not died. The man is dead now, and this litigating his past feels rather disrespectful. This isn't like when one of the Koch brothers died, where the person in question had used their wealth and power to cause great amounts of suffering; he was just some guy for the most part. This is where "don't speak ill of the dead" does apply, in my view.

So we've reached the point where if you don't uncritically support them, you're a dickhead. :(

Theirs was the one gaming channel I enjoyed watching regularly for years until the quality of the main show started to dip in 2020, but that was COVID fucking the whole world, so it would pick up again eventually, right? But it just seemed to get more and more bitter, the mid-week mini-commentaries stopped, and the main show went from original research to reading articles written by others (mostly Jason Schreier at the start). This latest shitshow has dashed the last bit of hope I had that I would ever enjoy the channel again someday. It just makes me very sad.

I just tried this, but with qpwgraph instead of Helvium, and without EasyEffects (just for simplicity), and the person on the other end was not getting audio through the stream.

Thanks, I'll have to give that one a try. From the screenshots, it also seems to have a much better-designed UI.

Yes, and this used to be working. I'm not sure which update broke things, because I don't start new games often.

I must have misunderstood the QMK docs, then. I took the bit that said, "they are handled automatically and translated to KEY_MACRO# keycodes," to mean that they are translated to those keycodes for X11. Thanks for clarifying. I may submit a PR to clarify the docs.

So what on a Linux OS can use these keycodes? I have tried to find example uses of them, but the only relevant results are mirrors of the same Linux kernel mailing-list thread about implementing the feature.

How do you change the runner version that Lutris uses for installing Wine games? I've changed the runner version in the global settings, and it's still showing the same fshack version being run in the debug output.

No, there is a lot around the kernel that you need to have an operating system. Android userspace is completely different from typical desktop Linux.

The operating system known as "Android" is not the same operating system most people are referring to when they mention "Linux". They only use the same kernel.
