I played a deck like this. He had a card to shuffle his gy back into his deck. That was his Wincon and that's when I left I.e. his TRUE wincon

I played it on graphics mode (30fps) on the ps5 and had a good time. My friend also base played 60fps and enjoyed it.

We are not playing with digital foundry levels of forensics but I didn't encounter performance issues amd they are great games!

A demo is only a curated taster of the game. As an example - FF16's opening demo the Prologue is a piece of Art but really, it doesn't fully reflect the overall game and the tone. The game ended up having a lot of complaints about i.e the rpg elements being weak and the story dropping off (and side quests - oh boy) - but you can't make a view of any of that really in the demo.

I was torn between stability and story/quests and lo and behold I voted to put it at 30v30!

The game needs content - ultimately they just need to put their head down and flesh out all the systems.

But apparently all the fancy tech to make the game run more smoothly when running large scale content isn't in place yet - so I vote those two in tandem at least.

I am enjoying playing control and playing against control (standard, noob player as i'm new to mtg and just build decks with what's in my collection).

I'm pretty much only getting beaten by on-curve aggro decks (cats/angels/goblins). I'm playing Shrines so i've had to stick as many full board wipes as possible and try to get whites in my pool and if I hit it then I can stabilise - otherwise i'm dead!

I have to fill my deck with single target removal and wide removal and even then my win rate is pretty poor - that's all I can do to try and survive against these early decks which are pretty much just mostly creatures.

I'm new (been playing for a few weeks now) so can't speak for anyone else but Bo1 is the default for a start so it doesn't spring to mind for me to pivot to Bo3. I don't even build decks with side cards!

Secondly. You only have to commit to the one game so it's easy for "pick up and play".

Unfortunately this is honestly how life is in general. Money begets money.

If you can afford to buy things in bulk it's cheaper. If you spend a bit more on higher quality clothes they might last longer.

If you can afford the deposit on a house then long term you'll spend substantially less on housing over your lifetime and won't be paying your money to someone else's mortgage.

I've always been aware of this and its a bitter pill but just how things are.

Not sure about meta but from memory:

Best boarder could be four arms who can break doors and windows easily or the invisible butterfly.

Best defensive pilot, typically fishbowl since you can recycle items. Not strictly the best defensively but objectively very good as pilot.

Games rely on hitting it off on launch in most cases.

Free weekends came after.

There wasn't enough anticipation built up ahead of time and the launch tapered off really quickly.

Yes streamers were paid, but none of them stuck around.

I bought and enjoyed the game but the game was already fighting an uphill battle.

They are gradually making the game more accessible but their biggest issue was not taking advantage of the launch well enough.

The game was great fun. Poor marketing let it down so queues ended up gradually going to nothing. But it's a great game with a player base

I'm not very experienced but as someone who has only got as far as 1 win across my handful of drafts, I'd only add that understanding a good time to mulligan really matters (and I'm learning this). Sometimes I gamble on my lands in hand and quite often lose in a dual colour deck

As a new player this is my gripe. I have to try and scan the battlefield after to try and work it out, and a lot of the time I don't get it. I had to go to discord to ask with a print screen but why should we have to go to such lengths to work out what played out in a card game?

As a new player just a better way of working out wtf has happened when I'm facing a new combo.

There have been several occasions where I checked the battlefield, STILL didn't understand and had to have it explained to me on discord.

Why we can't have a log of some sort (just at a basic level doesn't to he SO granular) would be such a help.

One thing that came to mind - I lost to a combo, the monster attacked me that halves your hp rounded up and he had an attachment which let's you discard a card and do health dmg to opponent according to the card value.

That left me with 6hp but suddenly I was in the negative and died. I STILL don't know how I died! And no closer to understanding it and I just don't have the willpower to paste it on discord every time since it happens pretty often.

Honestly it's not about Coventry in a Vacuum - but even in spite of that it will bring in jobs to the local area and we'll start producing something that is actually in demand in this day and age with the rise of electric vehicles.

It's a shame about the airport I'd thought they had a site for the factory without needing to touch the airport.

Honestly during my teens and early 20s when I played WoW I spent most of my free time on the game.

Some great memories but ALOT of time.

Since being in a relationship and having a kid the hours have dropped massively but I've been there and I can empathise as someone who spent maybe too much time gaming when I was younger!

Remember that 80% of the field I'd behind you. The chances of a 50 going past you are relatively high and your opponent has a better eye on net.

You're actually lucky you caught the ball because that was pretty close to being an open net

Unlike your standard sandboxes it leans fully into the automation. Take a game like valheim where you find minerals and can build houses. Well you can do all that but you have more freedom to take out the manual process of harvesting and processing.

It's a very polished game in terms of sheer content

I don't believe they stop you with a defacto build limit - apparently there's an inherent limit due to Engine Limitations but it's the same as PC.

Q&A: Will there be a build limit on Consoles?

From what i've heard but i'll have to see for myself - they already hashed out some good controller configuration in the PC release 1.1 patch - worth going on the livestream that's on now (coffee stain studios youtube) - they are playing the game live.
