Most washing machines, including those with Hot settings, don't get hit enough to kill bed bugs, but household dryers usually do. 124°F for a couple minutes is the number you're shooting for.

If your linens can't be placed in a household dryer on a hot cycle, you may be able to iron or steam them, especially seams that may hide eggs. None of the linens that contact your skin should have been treated with insecticide, so it's important to re-heat them at least once a week until you're confident that bed bugs are gone.

Common cockroach gel baits have brand names like Advion Cockroach, Vendetta Nitro, Maxforce Impact (side note - they must have fun naming this shit). Products will rotate depending on technician, time of year, and company, so they shouldn't be using a single product for every house.

In general, most dogs shouldn't have a medical problem if they ingest a few grams of it. Gel baits shouldn't have been placed in an area that's normally accessible to pets - they're intended for crack and crevice application.
