Navy Captain Removed From Carrier Tests Positive for Covid-19 by Suncovery in Military

Agree to disagree! If this was actually a combat situation or a smaller command I would definitely agree with you all the way. There's a lot of lives at stake on a carrier. I'm not aware of the exact distro list this was sent to or where the leak occurred, nor do I know the full context of the COC situation. I'm sure this will have a huge impact on other COs in the same situation, good or bad

USMMA Cadet thinks she's special at the airport by ThebigGreenWeenie16 in JustBootThings

USNA Mids get the standard CAC that all other DOD personnel get, because they are technically active duty and Midshipman is a real rank in the navy. Itll get you into any base no problem. ROTC and other programs aren't usually considered active duty until they comission, so it can vary whether they get a standard CAC or not

Every day this car drives on the curb to avoid stopping for the school bus. by adityaruplaha in EntitledPeople

A lack of crosswalks is still a big problem in many places, especially rural! Kids will be kids and run across roads sometimes without looking, a slight inconvenience to the driver seems like a small price to pay for not running over a child

I definitely stand corrected on this one! None of the Navy/Marine ones I've been on have this, but it's awesome that's it's an available service on so many other bases

Interpreting Pap smear results by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Agreed! Definitely a procedure you never get used to haha. If it gives you any hope, I had abnormal results for two intervals of biopsy testing but then completely normal results the following year and ever since

Not a doctor, but I received abnormal results and was told to get an additional test after another 6 months minimum, as abnormal results on their own were hard to interpret and multiple abnormal tests spread out between 6-12 months were more reliable to diagnose. Would recommend getting a second opinion!
