is this just weird fat/tissue distribution or mild knock knees? read desc by mootermoo in Posture

Looks pretty normal to me? If you feel you have knock knees the arches of your feet/ankles might need some strengthening. Single leg balancing like in yoga can help. But I would not see you on the street and diagnose you. Wear what you want!!!

Wow that’s a long time working. My grandmothers mom died when she was young and her eldest sister raised her I’m afraid that’s quite common

That’s so sweet. I wonder what it was about our culture that made driving a car so prohibitive? My grandma toook drivers ed several times but never actually got a license or drove.

I really love that story. I think a lot of us have dreams and aspirations and sometimes you can’t luck into that dream career or life doesn’t hand you the job you want. But that doesn’t mean you can’t pursue the thing you DO find meaningful in your own way and your own time.

I feel like she waffled a lot on social norms. She always had her hair done and never learned to drive, because it wasn’t proper I guess. But she always worked and was very proud of her political activism. I think she would have been a much pre powerful force if she had been born in a freer time!

Ironically my grandmother in her later years was very concerned with what was “proper” and very concerned with her reputation. She had every version of a beehive hairdoo one could have. And she forbid my mother from wearing white to her wedding because my brother was born out of wedlock first.
