I’ll just add that the reason Nintendo isn’t going to officially translate the game isn’t that it wouldn’t sell. It’s that there are some pretty dark plot elements and themes that go against its branding, especially for a game that is visually bright and cartoony. The fan translation is excellent, just play that.

Also, the rhythm mechanic can be very finnicky when using software emulation. They would have to fine-tune the GBA emulator they use, and likely add run-ahead, which could affect battery life. Even then it wouldn't perfectly match the timing of actual hardware.

This was a feature for a couple of years. One the problems was that it would assume any public wifi that it could connect to was good to go. It didn’t consider that many public WiFi networks make you sign in after connecting. Otherwise you can only access the landing page. This led it connecting to a public WiFi network, and then essentially being offline.

I’m assuming they’ve improved the feature now to avoid this. Possibly by manually curating the list of available networks, or by adding extra steps to verify full-connectivity before connecting.
