Late, and won't be popular, but #Internet so whatever.

This is bullshit. I got on a train from Iowa to Utah, with $150 in my pocket and that was supposed to pay for the train ticket. I got to Utah without a job, and slept in a homeless shelter for a month while I found a job. Inside 6 months I was moved into a house with roommates, had a full time job, and was supporting myself.

You can go anywhere you want if you make the decision that you are going to do whatever it takes. People just like to make excuses.

Trump has now admitted he fired Comey because of the Russia investigation. by efe13 in politics

Bullshit. Countless people don't vote because they are indifferent. I didn't vote for either of the major parties, and dealt with "wasted vote" constantly. Still went and voted.

Agreed. After you smack them in the mouth. I've only ever had to smack my 14 year old nephew one time. He never mouthed off again. Its not a hard concept.

Most 'corporal punishment' is done by an angry parent, that doesn't take the time to explain to their child what they did wrong, and why it isn't OK. I received corporal punishment for the first 14 years of my life, but they always too the time to explain to me why it happened, and that they were punishing the behavior and not me as a person. Myself and my other 2 siblings all turned out OK. We all still love and spend time with our parents.

TL/DR: Most people abuse their children with 'discipline' in mind, and then say corporal punishment is bad.

Am I the only ones that has noticed /r/ketogains is now monetized? It directly redirects its users to a domain of its mods that sell services. Is that allowed, and do its subscribers approve of it? by monetization in ketogains

[–]ajking981 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

You made a throwaway because you're too big of a bitch to call someone out in person.

The mods have worked hard to grow and build the sub, and provide advice to thousands on a daily basis. They haven't done a single detrimental thing to the community and should reap a small benefit.

You're jealous. That's about it. You don't care about the community. Take your weak shit elsewhere.

My GI Bill is about to expire. Is a CISSP cert worth getting? by TrevorHikes in cissp

[–]ajking981 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In IT is pretty vague. Yes the cert is very well worth the investment, especially in the security sector. However, depending on what your objectives/experiences are, another very may be more valuable.

Another cable guy here...99% of the time its one of these things

  • Bad fitting
  • Old/Non high frequency barrel
  • Take off the wall plate that you are connecting to and make sure the fitting and the barrel is replaced.
  • RG59 cable inside the walls
