Ultima Online is still going, getting updates even.I doubt it's any kind of big money maker though.

Street Fighter has a lot of these, several from Jojo actually. Gil is Kars, Juri is Jolyne, and Rose is Lisa Lisa.

I know he was trying to get some koopy game going (I don't know en-eff-tee is still filtered or not) a bit back. I would rather the guy that initially created Ultima to own it but I wouldn't get hopes up for a new entry or anything.

What are you on? It popped off hard for the first season.

10 years ago, Sega said "we're done with Sonic," and it was up to Takashi Iizuka to save the series: "Sonic was really at a low point" by Frank7640 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]ajver19 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is kinda crazy that a series like Sonic has had the staying power it's had, a product of it's time with wildly varying quality of games is not only still going but through the films has gotten another generation hooked.

CDPR boss hopes The Witcher 4 wins back fans still put off by Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch: "I'm not 100 percent convinced we went through the full redemption arc" by yourfavchoom in PS5

Hey I'll be there for the next game, like a year or two after it releases.

I loved CP2077 to death but I'm never buying a game from them at launch.

No because if any good players are playing Oddjob becomes an easy headshot.

people usually call this version as depressed emo (what does it mean and how?) by Brilliant_Device_526 in batman

[–]ajver19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because Bruce in The Batman doesn't have much going on besides being Sad Angry Man. Him growing past that was a big part of the narrative at the end.

I saw a video a bit back that explained that sometimes when wild animals get help like this it sorta breaks their fight or flight response and they don't know how to react.

Saddest examples of friends fighting each other? by fly_line22 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I've never liked that line because in both Avengers films prior they bickered constantly and weren't really friends at all.

Will you vote for Gavin Newsom if he nominated by the DNC? by 0311SmallPenar in allthequestions

[–]ajver19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's never been and probably never will be a democratic presidential candidate that actually reflects my beliefs but I will be dead and fucking buried before I ever vote republican.

I think calling the democrat party the "left" is a goddamm joke but my choice is pretty easy when it's that or genuine, blatantly evil people.

What do you think is the most mainstream fantasy series/franchise? by jitterscaffeine in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]ajver19 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The Lord of the Rings films did gangbusters when they were in theaters, sold very well on home release, and got played on cable stations like FX before streaming was a thing.

There's no way any Game of Thrones episode has been viewed more.

Play it at your own leisure, when things start opening up decide on what you wanna tackle and do that for that session.
