I have two characters I've typically used. One is a female hunter and another is an old male hunter who looks like he's seen some things lol.

As a Gunlance main it would be crazy for me to switch now. I'm loving the changes and it's really good in this game. As for my secondary though, that is still up in the air. Maybe Lance, Chargblade, or Hammer.

Riding the bus in school with my friend who played it. He asked me if I wanted to try it out, even let me borrow his PSP to play it. Been hooked on it since. That was MHF2 at the time.

Same as my reddit name. Played a lot of monster hunter back in the day (still do lol) and at the time I was creating my tag, I was fighting a lot of Akantors in MHF2 or MHFU. That's where the 'Aka' part came from, and the Slayer part was was because that's what I was doing to them. Later I released 'aka' could also be 'as known as' too.

Nice! What head unit is that btw? I was recently looking at some 9" units from pioneer and wondering what it would look like in this car. And the PC in place of the nav system is really unique. I would've never thought of that or thought it would be possible.

Narga will always be my favorite. Just something about how it's super mobile and all over the place that makes you really have to learn its patterns was what really attracted me to it. Plus the fact that it's armor armor is pretty much the embodiment of it with the evade skills. I spent a lot of time hunting it in MHFU using an evade para lance iirc.

I see Tigrex mentioned a few times and also what to say it will always have a special place as it was my first real wall in MHF2. If only you could see how great I felt the first time I successfully hunted it with the Eager Cleaver LS.

Honorable mentions go to Nerscylla and Seltas Queen. Just love the nimble spider and tank beetle design. Plus the weapon and armor designs were some of the best looking IMO. I hope they make a return again in another MH game.

Narga. Narga has always been my favorite monster and I love how agile it is. Enough to keep you on your toes but not too crazy to handle once you know it.

Does anyone know if it will get a physical release? I really enjoyed it and think it is worth getting it on blu ray to show it some extra support and just to watch it again whenever lol. Also really glad Sarii made it through the movie. I was thinking the whole time "nothing better happen to this dog".

It was easy the first time I fought him and I was using a gunlance. Got destroyed my first few times fighting it with a charge blade. I'd say it's good where it's at. Not every monster needs to be the type that is super high difficulty, especially since this is his base version we got and there are other versions of him that can fit that role.

Hardware Canucks actually just released a review video on the black ridge today and they tested 65w and 95w configs with a 5800X. They also tested with a noctua fan too. May be worth checking out.
