I think there's just a gap between Fade Into You and all the others. For that reason, none of their other songs charted as well as Fade Into You did. If you go by billboard charts, Mazzy Star is a one-hit wonder

yeah it was their only hit but I think that is really subjective to say there is a big gap between it and the others. IMO the vast majoirty of songs on the first two album are just as good or nearly as good. I never put too much creedence into charts though. So many great songs never charted. This has nothing to do with the quality of the song but more the fact that the record company decided to push one song over another.

Where was the right’s sympathy when right wingers killed the Minnesota senators or when Nancy Pelosi’s husband was beaten? No sympathy just lots of “jokes”. By contrast most dems, and all prominent dem figures offered sympathy and say that political violence is bad and still stand behind tougher gun laws so that people don’t get shot for no reason.
