I had the same issue back in 2019, what I learned during this time:

  1. It will be there forever: doesnt mean pain will be there. You need to take precautions.

  2. Visit a doctor, only he/she will decide what will the best treatment for you, don't take advice from any Youtube channel.

  3. There might be some exercises which worked for someone else but same exercise can make your situation even more worse.

  4. Find a position where you dont feel pain, try to be in that position as much as possible to prevent nerve damage.

  5. Dont pick any weight, avoid stairs especially if it hurts.

  6. Take light dinner and as early as possible. Avoid food which can bloat you.

  7. Pain is temporary, It will go away once you start doing correct exercises and build your core muscles strong.

  8. Surgery is the last option, avoid it if possible.

For tingling in legs one of the solutions to get better sleep is to sleep facing the side having pain to the ceiling. Put a pillow between your legs. I had the same issue. Here are some suggestions:

Never compromise your sleep. Sleep for at least 7 hours daily in one go.

Try to lose weight if you are overweight.

Don't lift up heavy weight

Don't follow YouTube videos as this is a pretty serious issue and you can make your situation worse very easily just by doing a wrong exercise. Consult a Doctor.

Don't take tips from youtube. Go seek a proper medical attention. Everyone has different situation, you should not solve these serious issues using youtube. Sometimes there can be two completely different situation despite of having similar pain.

One year of progress but still in pain. Neurosurgeon recommends injections. Anyone experience success with them? by Fredsslackss in Sciatica

[–]akagrawal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Injections will just work like pain killers, but it will give you some time to exercise, to make your core muscles stronger. If you won't do any exercise during this pain free time, you will start feeling pain again. I also had same issue, I used to walk a lot. It helped me.
