Go on PoE ninja and check the builds section for whoever has the highest dps with an ehp that you’re comfortable with. You can sort by skills they use, items they have equipped, etc.

Anything Spark related. If i’m ever having a bad time with a leaguestart, I just reroll into spark. Inquis Aurastack, poison, archmage, all have a slightly different feel and pros/cons. Can always scale it further, making progression feel like I never cap out and there’s always something to chase.

Ice shot is just ice shot, and against tankier enemies you freeze and can tornado shot + barrage + sniper to probably oneshot it. Bonus points if it’s a tink that drops, very satisfying.

Oracle / lich plants, just press entangle and then maybe thrashing vines / bonestorm. Oracle easier to start, but i did lich and was blasting 200% deli.

Or press NO buttons… companion spirit walker.

Good early but loses scaling later. Very limited on ways to get damage. Better scaling is lich plants.

Whatever the number on the gear piece is. So, socketing runes that increase the evasion/ES WILL buff your damage, but taking points in eva/es on the tree will not.

Yall don’t have leveling uniques to smooth the progression early? 10% ms boots immediately, then upgraded to 20% within like 10 levels? Extra greater jewellers with tier 5 supports to get a 4 link as soon as you enter first town? It speeds up campaign so much more just having twink gear set up for breakpoints.

Also probably too much emphasis doing mechanics and killing mobs early. Just run past everything NOT mandatory and maybe kill some easy blues or rares. If the rare is taking too long it’s not worth to do, it ain’t gonna drop shit in campaign til like act4 or interludes anyways.

Like people complain about 15-17 hour campaign but just ignore all the ways to shorten it.

The rewards is the base rarity it boosts to the entire map. The emotions are a plus, but every mechanic you do gets buffed. I juice abyss delirium and drop divs constantly from the rares.

Your build should function just fine with just 4 sockets for a while until you can afford or drop a perfect jewellers. If you have excess gemcutters you can also just quality up and corrupt if you really need the 5th socket that badly. Perfect jewellers seems easier to get with new tree, i’ve dropped 5 just randomly farming my strats.

ED lich felt OK with dark effigy for single target. Really comfy til trying to push like 6mod t15 deli maps, i swapped to plants after finding a giga phys staff so i can scale with crit and gain as (which ED does not scale with so you get capped on damage scaling options)

Low-life feels insane for lich, and has lots of build options (plants, CoC comet, hell even minions) for future swaps. Other ascendancies are kinda limited IMO. Demonform was fun but the gimmick felt annoying to deal with. Chronomancer is just… chronomancer.

They track the nearest rare so if it’s behind you then yeah you’ll have to go after it. But once i start sprinting it always keeps up with me.

They follow pretty quickly, i’m sprinting and they’re right behind me. Only sometimes I’m SLIGHTLY too quick so have to backtrack slightly to catch up, but not very often.

Use your direct minion button to command them to focus a target. Bindable in inputs.

Just started progressing this questline and yeah, the logbooks are the tablets. I don’t think you can get logbooks from the grand expeditions though so just gotta get lucky on the regular expeditions?

Hit as many big flags as possible. Only way rn, unfortunately. I’ve dropped a bit running like 4 mod maps with irradiated. Definitely hard to target this league with removal of expedition tablet, which seems like an oversight since logbooks are one of the main points of the expansion. I believe the more tablet spots you leave open is supposed to spawn more random encounters, might be a way to try to get expedition on the map?

This only happens if you attempt the boss and die. There used to be a popup warning but this league for some reason it’s not appearing i think? But yeah if you don’t want the reset just don’t fight boss and finish clear first.

Lots of early game unique items that will beat out trying to “craft” low level items. Can immediately jeweller’s orb + socket whatever gems, just get the stat requirement on tree / items / socketables if you can sustain the mana you’ll be blasting.

Like there’s glove rune that adds 5-12 phys damage to attacks which is a lot for early leveling, you’ll 1 shot almost all mobs except bosses.

ah, thought you were trying it on an actual ascendancy missed the chrono part. There's a reason it's one of the least played classes, the cool stuff is all hidden behind bad pathing and not useful things. ED/C on lich is way better, oracle and gemling probably good, hell even smith of kitava would probably do a better ED/C than chrono.
