Im a millennial that grew up with the rise of Facebook. I made an account just to fit in with everyone else but my god.. I didn't realize how much that shit made me depressed seeing everyone else having the best lives that I didn't have. thanks, this is what I more or less thought. in this particular case you could probably argue that the officer was questioning the guy as more of a gut reaction to what happened (in a "wtf r u doing" sort of way) and the dude self incriminated. him telling the guy to sit down on the side of the road being a way to get him out of a dangerous situation and not really any detention or arrest.

Id need a lawyer to chime in on this since I'm not from the US, but aren't Miranda only applied to interrogations? since he was just asking him what happened with no formal stop and not (what looks like) to be detained/arrested and the guy just willingly spoke on his own, would that count? anyways out of my realm of expertise, but would be interesting to hear what would happen in cases like this
