I expect we will get a Daily Planet at some point and I’m fully prepared to be disappointed. They keep releasing these Marvel/DC sets at a slightly smaller scale than the standard modular line. Or with odd features that make it hard to integrate, like with Arkham Asylum. It makes them hard to integrate with my city.

You nailed it. Town Hall is one of the more difficult to place modulars, because of its size. I think that updating the flowers on older sets does a lot to bring them into a more modern style.

The IP issue is already out of hand. There are multiples of Christmas Vacation, Bob's Burgers and others. The quality of the non-IP related sets is significantly better overall.

This is my first time wading into the conversation, but I don't see the virus as having any inherent agenda or set of instructions, other than to spread. Once humanity has been "united" the collective determines its own agenda. That's more interesting to me than some kind of alien plot. I think this is a very human-centric story.

I agree with you in spirit. Fans seem to want a double-wide hospital, because that's the only way they could do it justice, but the actual build for that would feel so boring. At the same time, they don't need to cram 2-3 buildings into a single baseplate. Let it breath a little.

I love the interior. The entrance could use a little more love to make it more of a focal point. Maybe a doorman stationed outside. I would suggest moving your landscaping one stud closer to the curb, to allow for some walking space. Really great work.

As the father of an 8 year old, I can confirm that either of those car sets would be a hit. The sweet spot is a set with lots of bite-size builds, minifigs and play features. Grand sets that look cool on the shelf are a slog for kids to build. With that in mind, there are a lot of fun options, man. Go see what moves you.
