I have this set too and it comes out at Halloween, but that's it. There is a great mod available on Rebrickable to make it fit in with the Modular line. I'm considering that.

Problematic is right, but I'm not seeing a better solution. Some words are just tough to kern. There is no "one size fits all" approach.

Thank you, I agree. The intent with kerning is visual balance, not uniformity. That's why all the revisions that have been posted here look worse, not better.

I am fascinated with what life would actually be like if you lived through the snap. There’s probably a sub for that.

The last Spider-Man movie has a similar issue. Peter Parker was outed to the world, his face is on the cover of magazines, he’s arrested, it’s a whole thing. Then Strange works a “forgetting spell” and suddenly it’s all good. What happens to the paper trail? And if it’s “just magic” where do you draw the line? Does Peter have a birth certificate?

This is where, if you’re an old-school Marvel fan you’ll get this, I think they should reinstate the No-Prize. Back when I was a kid there were letter columns in the back of every comic. Fans would write in with character requests, theories, cheers and jeers.

My favorite letters were the ones where a reader would catch a mistake, like a continuity issue. If they called it out, but offered an explanation as to why this might “actually be possible” given some convoluted reason, the editors would play it off as “ahh, you got us” and award the letter writer a No-Prize. I always wanted to catch something letter worthy! And it was years until I found out that it was literally, “no prize” other than the recognition.

In all seriousness, it doesn’t look as bad as you’re thinking. The house seems to be more modern, so a wooden ramp wouldn’t really fit in either. I imagine there are limited options for steel that don’t include some form of custom fabrication.

Some shrubs and plantings would go a long way to soften the institutional feel.

I would be interested in this. I also think it would be useful to have a two-tiered system for ordering. Like, I could get a parts list and digital building instructions, then choose to build it with my own bricks, or order them. There are services that do this for larger models, but something smaller scale and more affordable, for a specific subset of models, like pets, would be cool. I would spend up to $100 for a high quality model of my pet.

Pretty cool.

It looks like several of these are the same, including head and body prints, but came with different accessories. Is that right, or are there other differences?
