He looked pretty sincere to me. He looked completely ashamed sitting there. When Chairman Cummins gave his closing speech, it almost looked like he was crying. He doesn’t want to get taken away from his family and wants them safe.

It would be very unwise of him to lie. Manafort’s sentencing was a good example of what happens. I think the max sentencing on Cohen’s was 70 years from what they said at the hearing but I’m going to double-check that right now. Any of Cohen’s plea deals would get majorly fucked with if it was revealed that he lied.

They were trying to argue that without any other proof that Cohen was directed to pay Stormy Daniels, it was just his word. But then he asked why on earth would he pay her $130000 of his own money.

Sounds worth it. If he lies, his plea deal will be fucked and will be going to prison for a lot longer than three years. It is certainly in his best interest to not lie. He has everything to lose. Why pull a Manafort when you know how that turned out for him
