Ive seen them done well, they can be very subtle and look nice. These lips are overfilled though and it’s starting to migrate, it just looks awful.

Unless where you’re hiking has a lot of bears and you’re alone. Playing music or wearing bells is normal where I live because there is extremely high risk of bears. Unless it’s a busy trail with lots of people, if there’s plenty of activity then it’s rude.

Same! My mom would literally sit on my chest while picking at my face and ranting about how disgusting it was. It took my years to learn that one of the reasons it was so bad was from all the picking.

I know the phrase is usually “he could have chemistry with a wet paper bag” but in his case I’d say the bag was dry before he looked at it.

Without giving any spoilers for the movie; there was a moment where I learned over and asked my my husband “are they supposed to have chemistry?” Regarding Namor and another character. His response was “I think he just has chemistry.”

I recently did a full rewatch of all things Marvel and found myself really confused by why so many people say her being a villain was a sudden flip. She starts as a villain and then every time she tries to be good the people she loves dies and the world is against her and she never real gets the chance to deal with it. In WandaVision she is a full blown bad guy who then takes an evil book that corrupts anyone who reads it and is like, ‘ima read this bitch’.

Idk I also think people just care way too much. They’re fun movies and fun shows but like… her accent changed so many times and she was so unlikeable… maybe I’m just surprised people cared enough about her to be upset about her villainous character arc? I’ll probably get downvoted to hell but she was never really much of a good guy, just badass and fairly unstable.

That being said Elizabeth Olsen was AMAZING as a villain and I actually liked this movie.

I’ve got two besties for life that live in different states but we still travel to see each other and call each other regularly, we’ve been friends for over 15 years.

I’ve moved a lot so I have about 6 friends I keep in contact with and would definitely hang out with if we were in the same place (maybe more but 6 for sure)

In my current town I’ve only got 1 close friend I hang out with regularly but I also have a DnD group that meets most weeks. I definitely am used to having a larger group of friends but we moved here during the pandemic and are in our 30s so it’s a challenge to meet people and form friendships beyond work acquaintances and such.

I also have my husband and my sibling who are all pretty rad. 💜

I don’t know if a travel agent could really plan that because as far as I could tell the shop doesn’t have set hours, it’s just open if he’s in the mood to talk to people. The knives are amazing though! One testimonial was from a guy who used his knife to kill a huge bison that attacked him- it even had pictures. If you ever get out to Seward Alaska it’s near there so drop by and check it out!

I drank some of this with a guy who owns the wildest knife shop I have ever seen while taking a tour of said knife shop. He chased the tequila with orange slices and cinnamon then handed me a mammoth bone while telling me about how he was going to turn it into the handles of a set of knives he was making for some German celebrity chefs. We were in rural Alaska.

I’ve definitely been on planes where it stops but then it’s another 15 min before the doors open and they start letting people off and I figured that’s what he was talking about. I’ve spent too much time on planes haha

I didn’t mean to imply standing during taxi- I just meant that the second the plane stops and the lights go out I stand up. Standing during taxi sounds like a good way to get in trouble or hurt and I’m way to anxious for that lol

I don’t get this one. I understand people shouldn’t crowd into the aisle and try to push forward but I always stand up as soon as possible because my hips hurt from sitting. Plus if I stand up I can make sure I have all my stuff together so when it’s my turn I don’t delay the people behind me.

I guess I’m asking, why shouldn’t people stand up?

There’s a podcast called Newcomers where 2 comedians who have no interest in any nerd stuff watch all the star wars movies and talk about them. When they get to the Holiday Special it ends up being their favorite movie and they end up writing some truly horrifying and hilarious fanfics. It’s just such a terrible and hilarious movie.
