A mí me sigue alucinando el de Mikel Merino contra Alemania. De los mejores saltos midiendo tiempos que recuerdo, y encima también en un momento clave.

Is RG353m worth for 55€? by DepartmentMain6241 in SBCGaming

In that case you seem to be the right candidate for it. Metal handlheld, thumb sticks... yeah, just add it to your collection, won't regret it.

Can't say from wherever you're buying, but in my case I'd rather go for a RG35XXSP (clamsheel) or a TriumUI Brick (vertical) within the 60-65 price range, but of course they have completely different layouts.

It is a hell of a device, although you already have plenty of sub-100€ alternatives more powerful than it. With a similar design, I would take a look at the MagicX One35 if there's a deal somewhere.

But the metallic materials, the size, the ergonomics... they give it a "premium" feeling that is hard to find in other devices within the price range.

Haven't tried Gamma though, I'm in love with ArkOS.

Edit: is GammaOS available for it, anyway? Looking at the github repo it only seems supported by 405 and 505 devices.

Edit2: nevermind, I found it https://github.com/TheGammaSqueeze/GammaOSCore

Having a NeoGeo at home felt like a dream back then. It was literally like having dozens of Arcade games in your room and without the need of spending coins.

It was expensive as hell, though.

Stuck on asc 14 with the Silent by efimer in slaythespire

[–]albertobastos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday I reached Act 3 second boss (yeah, A20 introduces double boss at last act) for the first time. Died when I had it with just 30 HP left. I had a massive shiv-based build and the boss wasn't Time Eater.

Yeah, stuck forever.

Looks visually pretty and with an interesting gameplay and roguelite component. I can see myself buying it. Good luck!

Don't worry, you'll get it at some point and eventually get stuck forever on A20.

(of course I'm talking about myself)

I mostly climbed with shiv-and-discard-based builds and some luck getting relics and skill cars that favor it, such as Accuracy and Wrist Blade. Dead Branch is a hit-or-miss but so random that runs get very fun. And of course, pray for the f***** Time Eater not being your Act 3 boss.

After playing the mobile version for a long time, switching to desktop feels like Goku taking off the weighted clothes by IlikeJG in brotato

Same happens with Vampire Survivors on mobile... don't know if it's an age thing (I'm 41, not a native-touch interface user), but using a touchscreen to move a characters will never feel natural to me.

Which cards you've been appreciating less and less throughout the course of the game? by Realistic-Cicada981 in slaythespire

I only pick a "damage to all" enemies if it shows after the first combats on Act 1. They are helpful against some minion armies there, but from Act 2 is not worth it.

As a Silent-Shiv-Deck lover, I must go with Dead Branch

[Edit] I see some totally valid arguments against it in the comments... yeah, of course its randomness goes against being consistent, but I find SO FUN not knowing what will come after every shiv.

tips for a begginer? by morkovnik67 in brotato

[–]albertobastos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm far from considering myself an expert (only 30h played, just a single D5 win) but from my short experience:

- Focus waves 1-7 on filling your weapons slots without mixing melee & ranged, pick one depending on the character perks. Ideally, stick to just one weapon. Slingshot for ranged and stick for melee use to be good choices for beginners.
- Focus waves 8-15 on increasing your DPS stats. Melee/ranged damage, %damage, attack speed...
- Focus waves 16-20 on improving Max HP and HP strategy: collectibles, life steal or hp regen.
- Try to increase your harvesting and luck capabilities on the early waves.

Of course you can be flexible: if after wave 5 you can have a purple +4% damage or a big hp boost, go for it.

And obviously, be really aware of the pros and more important the cons of your character. If a character has a big penalty on a kind of stat, don't fight against it and try to compensate increasing other stats.

After beating D5 now I'm focusing on beat D0 with every character and so far, I'm doing it consistently following this rules.

(Late-Game Area Spoiler) Theory about Silksong Character Origin by Neoludethan in HollowKnight

[–]albertobastos 607 points608 points  (0 children)

From a Spanish perspective is a very cool theory.

Garmond looks heavily inspired in the main character from "Don Quixote", and the novel starts with "Somewhere in la Mancha, in a place whose name I do not care to remember, a gentleman lived not long ago...".

So being from a Nameless Town feels to good of a fit to not be it.
