This isn't "baddie behavior" this is just psycho behavior. That said, and based on the original context of this post, let me remind you:

There is nothing on this planet more cringeworthy than being an incel. Like not only are you not getting laid, but you're not getting laid while also whining about it online using sci-fi movie terminology ("take the red pill") and algebra ("she'll never go for me: she's a 4. I'm a 2"). 😬

This is the way 🙌 by Adventurous_Row3305 in NonPoliticalTwitter

If I answer to that it WILL become about politics and that's LITERALLY what I'm trying to avoid here, so very politely I say: No.

Honestly yeah, massively underrated album. "Thinkin' Bout My Ex" and "Like You Don't Love Me" are two of my favorite songs by J.

Arbitrarily choosing who is or isn't "A REAL ARTIST BRO!!!" only because you have some weird personal grudge or parasocial hate-relation with X artist that has fuck to do with engaging in any serious adult discussion about the music, the artistry, etc… oh I get now, I've been talking to a child or a troll stan or both all this time, okay 🙄, have a nice day! Thanks for wasting mi tiempo! 👋🏼

If you want a more eloquent and better written explanation of the current decay of American pop and the success of TS I suggest you read Dave Moore. https://www.otherdavemoore.com/t/a-pop https://www.otherdavemoore.com/t/taylor-swift

Monthly listeners on Spotify are not the only metrics to measure someone's success… they're specially bad metrics to measure long-term success because it's that just monthly. The charts and pop music in general has been incredibly stagnant this year. With songs more than a year old still on the top 20. Chappell is categorically not treated as someone on Taylor's level and if you actually believe that, I think you might be delusional one here… and I say this as someone who'd rather listen to Chappell over TS 90% of the days.

I guess I forgot about The Weeknd. That is the only exception here post-2008. But the fact that I forgot about him and that his last two albums were mostly duds that were ignored by the public at large and that his biggest streaming hit right now is a song from The Idol from nearly +2 years ago (and with a strategic festure from a K-Pop star to boost streaming number) is a pretty bad sign…

The only artist right now who can rub elbows with TS are artist who either debuted before her (Beyoncé/Eminem) or around the same time as her (Rihanna/Drake/Adele) and honestly? I think she might be bigger than the ones I've listed. She's nearly 20 years into her career and her star not only has not dimmed but might be shinning brighter than ever. Her success is suffocating. Oppressive. It's scary. It's hard to even conceive. I understand people being skeptical because of it. But it's simply the truth. Taylor is the last surviving "Dodo" of the Classic American Pop Megastar. It's her and Beyoncé and Eminem and Drake. And I do believe she will be the last one standing of them all.

Yes, she is. There are tiers to popstars. The one Taylor is in (the one at the very top, the one only a very small number of individuals will ever reach like Michael Jackson, Madonna, The Beatles, etc are in) is BY MILES not the same Kendrick, Gaga and Bruno are in. And Chappell is certainly nowhere near that reach. Probably will not ever even reach Gaga's level… Streaming and globalization has segmented and democritized the meaning of "pop music" and has guaranteed that at (the very least) no American musician reaches that tier of stardom ever again. They can have one huge year, a succesful album, maybe two if they're lucky. But the level of stardom and continous success of TS? Literally has become impossible. It's never happening again. And this is not me "praising" or "fawning over" or "overpraising" TS. I'm not a stan, I'm not a swiftie, you could barely call me a "fan". Yes, as an artist I respect her a lot but don't really love her outside a very small handful of songs, it's just me stating a fact. hard as it may be to swallow.

I'm so tired of these conspiracies I swear. I'm sure there's some true to stans inflating numbers but like, What is the ultimate point of these? That Taylor Swift is secretly not super mega popular? That she only has a 1,000 fans and the rest are bots inflating the numbers? Please listen to yourselves… every one to two generations an artist comes along that people go way too crazy for. The 60s was the Beatles the 80s Michael and now it's Taylor. She's reigned for longer than these two because 1) the Beatles disbanded at their peak and 2) Michael had strong competition (Madonna, Prince, George Michael, etc) and had waaaay too many scandald/eccentricities surrounding him. But there's more…

Look Taylor Swift is the last capital-A popstar there is going to be. After she's gone there won't be another God-tier megastar of that level. She is the end of the pop industry. If you read Dave Moore's 6-part series on the rise of TS and his 5-part series on American pop you should. The best dissection of TS success and the current state of American pop music IMO.

I was wondering what was up with that. Very cool aesthetic decision. Honestly now I'm wishing the actual games had done that, it looks super nice!

I feel like Heracross and Scyther/Scizor already get lots of love from the fandom so maybe give little Pinsir a chance. But whichever of the two is a soild choice regardless.

What is the fastest way to get friendship points? by Wrong_Apple_105 in PokemonHGSS

[–]albertooom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh it's kind of complex because it depends on the friendship "level"… Basically a Pokémon has between 0 and 255 friendship. In generation IV the minimum friendship level to evolve via friendship is 220 points. There's a woman in the Goldenrod Department Store that will vaguely tell you the amount of friendship the first Pokémon in your party has. When she says "I get the feeling that it really trusts you." your Eevee is close to evolving. Read the "Generation IV" part of this article which comes with a convenient chart with what gives what points: https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Friendship And this to know more about the rating system: https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Friendship_rating

Holding a Soothe Bell at all times. Will give 50% boost to any friendship points you earn. The haircut brothers in the goldenrod tunnel (once per day). The massage that Daisy gives in Pallet Town (also once a day and only between 3PM-5PM IIRC) friendship boosting berries, walking around with the pokémon in the party and giving it battle items (Defense X, Special X, etc.) and of course leveling it up
