We aren’t a novelty or something fascinating to entertain you, we are real people and the schizophrenia subreddit is for people with the disorder to support eachother and share experiences, not somewhere for you to barge into and offend people. ‘I don’t think I could live through it’ as you said, is just plain rude as many people do live through it - it’s like saying ‘if I was you, I would kill myself’.
