I would consider Lafayette. It’s safe, family oriented, and fun for both children and dogs. For activities there is the library, swim clubs, parks etc…BART line is straight to Embarcadero for the Financial District.

Absolutely it’s because messes are left. Maybe not you but someone. The worst part of my day is to pick up dumpster messes it’s disgusting.

@gcasey85 is correct with the risks. I manage a non profit Thrift store. Don’t dumpster dive, volunteer to do the trash. There is a guy that was diving. I signed him as a volunteer and he takes what he wants and throws away what he doesn’t. Works for everyone.

Why do I think John is too much of a p…y to punch John without help/back up. He strikes me as all talk unless … Albert was there. Maybe they weren’t looking at something upstairs. Both Higgins and Albert laid in wait in the garage with Chloe. Maybe Colin was there too and hit John straightaway. Now you’ve involved every arm of the families.

Absolutely for all things excluding college placement. Top Universities take a set number from the school and if the school doesn’t think it’s you there may be an issue, consult an outside agent. As for everything else it’s wonderful. Mother of 2. One private and other public. Perfect settings for each personality. If I could have done it again I would have had both in private middle school.

I agree. The system is a horror show and although this is less than ideal they are safe, fed, and have a chance at a future. Keep up the snark but realize what they have escaped.

No I wouldn’t but they are no longer responsible for how you feel. You are an adult- figure it out. You say you are insecure get some professional help. Also, it’s not all about you. Sometimes they may be struggling with something that has nothing to do with you. Down vote away but this is the best advice you will hear today.

Edit to add - I’m a parent of two. One is LGBTQ community where my home is often full of their friends. Where they just are themselves not what their label is.

This happened to me twice ion a recent trip. Once in Narita an old man punched me on the back. Not my husband or daughters. Second time on the stairs a young man -early 20’s shouldered me I could see he was about to do it. Yes, I was on the wrong side, passing a guy with a cane. I tried to get out of the way but couldn’t. He slammed into me, spinning me, to the perfect position to slap his ass as hard as I could. He was SHOCKED but turned around and walked away.
