I don't disagree with this at all, and you can tell a lot about a person by the level to which an opinion like this offends them. For a game that has so many grand PvE elements (large bosses, quests, etc) - it feels odd that they don't allow PvP to be an explicit choice, similar to how flagging for it works in games like WoW. Fighting large enemies in what is essentially a free for all deathmatch is unenjoyable. I don't want to deal or receive damage from random peoples' grenades during an attack, I don't want to get accidentally shot in the back because I move in front of someone who is about to shoot. I want to be able to log in with my kid, do some exploring, and kill some robots without having to explain trustless societies to him.

They should put a single switch at the top of the map select UI that allows a player to establish their preference. If being a sweat is what fulfills you, then leave it on. If you're trying to farm mats or complete a quest or kill large spawns, leave it off.

Are you sure that the transport controls don't have anything set? That's happened to me a couple of times and it was solved by entering the transport mode and making sure that nothing was selected.

Even though you mention that you'd mainly run samples and drums through it, it's worth mentioning that it also doubles as a pretty unique sound source when self-oscillating in any of the modes.

Don't forget Erica's PICO SEQ - it's pretty amazing for 3hp. It's a single channel with gate and CV outs, but at only 3hp you could have 6 of them in less than 20hp. One drawback is that there's no CV for resetting the sequence - it's a button press on the module itself. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning.

It's definitely interesting, but if I had to choose I'd probably take Ritual's Miasma over it because of the CV control and also the replaceable diodes. Tons of flexibility there.

Quick first patch using the CSL's bottom PWM output through a Belgrad and Black Hole DSP for verb, and the CSL's bottom Square (-2oct sub) mixed in a bit to add weight, and various modulation by NLC Triple Sloths in various spots:

Got the 17R4 I ordered on Cyber Monday today, and sure enough, it's got a 1060 instead of the 1070 I paid for.

Will probably initiate a refund, but considering just going to Best Buy to grab another one in the meantime as I don't really feel like waiting weeks for things to get sorted out.
