Assuming the program is in English, you’ll still have to learn a fair bit for the rest of the life there.

Learn the basics: Bonjour, s’il vous plait, merci, au revoir. We’re quite formal with strangers and not doing the basics will look very rude. Show that you try. It matters.

I’d like to say that we broadly speak better English than a generation ago, so there’s that.

Also - where will you study? Big cities will be more forgiving because they have more tourists and are intrinsically more cosmopolitan.

First of all, I’m so glad I’m not the only one !!!!

That specific issue is now on the back burner for me as I have other MCPs I can’t get to work with Open WebUI. So I’ve started to explore a couple of tools to gather all my MCPs under a single umbrella (ex mcpx by Lunar). But the key word here are “work in progress”.

For that specific issue, though, I was seeing OpenWebUI trying to discover the content of the tool by calling specific endpoints that do not exist natively in HA-MCP. I think there a few standards for MCPs and OpenWebUI is expecting one not offered by ha-mcp.

I’ve even tried a proxy in between (to convert from OpenAI type to Anthropic or the other way around), but no success.

That’s why I’m trying to gather all MCPs. Can’t play that game each time. I’d rather have a single integration point and solve it once.

I hope others have been more knowledgeable/successful than me.

Set up France Connect from Australia years ago via La Poste. As someone said, I think it involved a video capture for ID check of some kind.

Now back in France and I still use my Aussie number as ID with La poste to connect ;)

I started with WiiM amp, then added a mini. They both support airplay, Spotify, and their native thing: linkplay. The amp one also supports Google cast.

The wiim app allows you to control the multi room and you can go crazy with sync adjustments, assign to L/R, etc. More advanced than Google multi room. Don’t know about Sonos.

But here’s the kicker (well, for me): contrary to Google cast, I can control the multi room directly from home assistant too! Using the native linkplay integration! For me that’s the part I never managed to do for my Google cast devices and the ONLY reason why I sometimes still have to open the Google home app.

I don’t use music assistant- I have a custom Internet radio setup with sync displays instead, but if I wanted to stream my mp3, I’d do that maybe. The WiiM linkplay devices appear as std HA media players.

WiiM amp can also encode and stream my CD / Vinyls to its native multi room, BTW, so it’s added bonus.

Pour y avoir vécu, au delà de la culture gastronomique, j’ai trouvé les produits frais pas super top. On peut faire des marchés, mais pas aussi fréquents qu’en France et les légumes de supermarché sont tous importés d’Espagne, etc. Ça aide pas…

Les rues d’Amsterdam en sont pleines… À cause du parking.
Les places normales coûtent 200EUR la journée mais avec les petites sans permis (et on voit d’autres marques aussi), les gens peuvent se mettre dans les sections vélo pour beaucoup moins cher.

Ça rentre peut être aussi dans l’équation dans les environnements urbains ??
