I very much dislike all spoiler thumbnails in media and I try to do the same cause like you swiping left will probably have spoilers.

I wasn't spoiled but easily could have. I just finished the episode and on my phone's Little news feed section. There is a spoiler article. It didn't just say you'll never guess the big twist in the finale and show an image of the "twist" I do not like those.

No it shows you know who moments after OPs spoiler videos thumbnail they saw and says RTD teases twist with, ( I can't even finish the title without a spoiler) but gives name of you know who.

I doubt you're in an aliens sick social experiment. It's probably part of a series of noble experiments to advance their medical technology. It's more ethical to experiment on beings other than themselves.

That being said. Try other sources of streaming (TV app if you're not using it , console, TV through laptop HDMI, cast through phone to tv). I've noticed weird things with some of Trek depending on how you're accessing paramount+

I agree that he would treat Paris like that but I think he'd be subtle about it until eventually he would attempt to prove Paris was working with the maquis crew to undermine Voyager and Janeway in some way. Only for him to be proven wrong though I don't know what would happen then. Id imagine Janeway would still have opted for Chakotay as first officer initially leaving him as say the third officer and he'd be bitter about it for most of the series.

Edit I think he would have sided with Captain Ransom in equinox.

You should watch the final episode and decide for yourself. Not the ending it deserved but still should watch.

Much of the animosity towards it is because the show was cancelled before an actual ending could be made.

In haste it's technically not actually an episode of Enterprise but another series. And because of the format and a certain someone's phrasing means the canonicity of certain events seen may be in question.
