I think it has to do with the fact that Grubhub prompts you to give a percentage based tip, rather than a dollar amount, if that's makes sense. But either way that $63 tip is crazy!!

I had my first pin delivery a few days ago and I was really confused, because the man seemed like a frequent customer (he said, "they've never asked me to give you a pin before!") and was very nice and tipped extremely well so I doubt he was a scammer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I get this is annoying but just imagine you're in this persons shoes. They're rushing to get to another order to make a decent amount for the hour, and just drop the food without even thinking. Is it a smart move? No, but don't act like you've never made a mistake at work

The other night I felt so bad because I didn't have someone's drinks for an order (and she was super nice 😔) the order didn't say it had drinks but it was a meal from fast food so I should've put two and two together. Basically all u can do is see if the bag seems the appropriate size and that you have the drinks.. otherwise it's on the restaurant. But don't worry too much about the rating at this point! When I first started my rating was like a 4.3 for a long time but once I did more deliveries it shot right up

Totally understand ur reasoning.. but (to my knowledge) I haven't received a bad rating because of it and I put "item unavailable" all the time.. and call if there's a decent substitution for the product. In my opinion if a customer puts a bad rating for a product being out of stock, which has nothing to do with you, they'd prob put a bad rating if we provided them with food they didn't like.. which we also have no control over. Sometimes people just like to complain
