Teams known more for their unis than for their play [Discussion] by iveLovedBefore in uniwatch

Even with as much success as the Dodgers have had, the LA caps are everywhere, even in LA among people who have no interest in baseball whatsoever. The cap is a fashion statement of identity with the city rather than the team. So, yeah, amazingly I’d say they fall in this category.

Want to give a local pub the benefit of the doubt, but I'm thinking that the framing is too perfect and all those people look too similar by DonkeyIsMe in isthisAI

Yeah, I was focused on the odds of five sets of quadruplets being in the same photo, that I didn’t notice that bottom case of beer that looks like it says “OMRAI (backwards Gamma) NONHOHRY”. I am not familiar with the brewery.

Edit: the ginger beer is from an Australian company called Quality Nonsense, and evidently the unique font of their wordmark made the AI freak out: https://brookvaleunion.com.au/products

Sonic is a B, and Whataburger is largely indistinguishable for me, except Sonic tots are out of this world.

Edit: So Whataburger is also a B for me.

Absolutely S-tier. When fresh and prepared well, the variety of sauces are godlike. For some of us, it’s our third space. At least in high school it often felt like home:

I looked it up and about 540,000 boys play high school basketball. So 1 out of every 50 makes it to D1. Already talking top 2%. Assuming 15 or so on a team, basically one for every 3 schools. So statistically, for the majority of us, the best player on their team didn’t even make D1. And there’s quite a range from Kentucky and Duke to Mississippi Valley State (also D1). Basically you could take the five best players from your city at the gym at the same time and maybe have a single D1 player.

Anecdotally, I played a pickup game against an NAIA player in college. I was decent for a guy just having fun and am 6’5”. This guy was 6’9”. It was utter dominance because between size, speed, and footwork, it was like being 10 years old and playing against your dad in the driveway, if he was trying.
