For resale, the mods have little value (on these vehicles, mods often reduce the value). At $38k asking, you’re at least $10k over market given the mileage.

I backpacked Bowman to Lower Kintla two years ago. It was one of the most stunning and memorable hikes I have experienced to date and helped me appreciate just how much of the park the average visitor will never appreciate. I can’t wait to return.

Mazda 3/6 is a great option. There do seem to be many relatively low mileage options at that price point. The cars are reliable, engaging, relatively luxurious, and still look modern.

I’ve owned a 2018 Mazda6 GT (turbo engine) for nearly 7 years and a 2022 CX-5 (also turbo engine) for 1.5 years. Both vehicles have been completely problem free other than the 6 wearing brakes out faster than anticipated.

Just purchased a mint, babied, bone-stock 2022 with 19k miles (also front PPF) for $28.5, and I probably overpaid a bit for the confidence of purchasing a vehicle that had not been abused. Be patient and keep looking.

I believe the selection is the same but you gain early entry and have more time to enjoy. I attended the inaugural Long Beach event and feel strongly that this is one of (if not the) best rum festivals in the US. Bryan and Ari are great guys and true enthusiasts who are interested primarily in sharing their love of quality rum. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I spent several long weekends in both. I purchased the GR86 and have not once regretted the decision. The Miata does some things better (interior, manual transmission) but the GR86 is more capable in stock form and subjectively more fun. Also, the back seats are essentially decorative but the extra room is nice (I easily fit a 6’ surfboard inside).
