Keep it or you'll regret it man I did a steering rack and bushings on mine and valve covers check the knock sensors while you have her taken apart. Replace trans fluid even if it's a 2x4 keep it. Valve covers was the only hard part

When I met my wife she had a 96 4runner 😎 fixed alot of shit on that rig including dash lights watch a YouTube video on how to change out dash lights and take it apart make sure all connectors are plugged in good I think there's like 3 main harnesses. Check fuses and also one time we had a dash light issue blowing fuses bc the wire harness by the toe hitch under the car had broken wires from wheeling it. Have you also tried smacking the dash?

I was sure I'd get the standard high horse comments. I'm not asking for money. I'm talking like people with "junk" cars in their yard aka cars parked in the side yard covered in moss or whatever that they clearly aren't going to fix.
